How useful would it be to have a chat tab you can invite friends to for closed chats even when you’re not in the same guild so you can talk or co-ordinate cooperative adventures easier. Maybe up to 6 people at a time at most.

I think you are on to something there Tasmin . It would help a great deal having an adventure group tab instead of individual whisper or interrupting large guild chat :).

Rick, you are special. We value your interruptions. :)
this suggestion is worthy of a +1 from me :)
A need for this feature was raised the moment "co-operative adventures" were announced. Looks like those adventures are going to be implemend relatively soon, yet I haven't seen a word of official feedback on this suggestion.
Total fail...
I do hope it isn't :(
I think this would be an awesome feature!

yes yes yes!
This would be really handy!
If you are offering lootspots or doing co-op adventures it would be good to have an extra tab where you can communicate with other players on the map so rather than whispering 3 or 4 other people you could chat to all of them in one tab. If you stay with the current tabs you can only chat in Global (not really allowed), Guild (Fills up guild chat and not everyone sharing adventures are in the same guild - or a guild at all) or whisper (where you can only speak to one person at a time).
It would be good to have an active adventure tab that links to each adventure so players can communicate on adventures so they are completed successfully and guidance can be given to newer players. Good idea Tasmin742.

What a great idea :)
+1! Very useful!
Awesome idea. Would be great to have a adv chat room :D
Especially now with the co-op adventures. I miss the old, undisturbed guild-chat :p On a serious note tho, having just two or three groups organizing their attacks on co-ops in the guild chat makes it useless for any other conversation.
The other way that this could happen would be to have the ability to invite more than one friend into a whisper so the 3 or 4 doing the co-op adventure could be in whisper together. +1 from me
This is definatly in my list of top ten suggestions ever.
Group whisper would be such a great tool with the addition of the new cooperative quests
I think it would be cool to have another chat tab. If you adventure with some guys/gals and you can talk in a separate chat, and in the new co-op adventures also.
An adventure tab for participants in an adventure would be awesome
Great idea indeed.
Already passed on and I agree it's really needed at this point.
It can be a tab on whisper with the adv's name on it, but allowing more than two participants - as many as there are players in the adventure. It's tedious to do a coop adventure with people who aren't in the same guild (which is why I haven't even tried, just imagining) and if everyone is in the same guild then it floods the guild channel, information might get lost among the general chatter, etc.
It'd be useful for other multiplayer adventures too.

Yes please!
+1 this would be a huge benefit to players in communication instead of repeating things from one whisper to the next
It would be useful to have a separate tab in the chat panel for people in an adventure. Other than that, you're talking in guild (i guess if you're not in a guild it's on the open chat).
Suggested before, better to ask a MOD in chat for a channel to use if you do co ops or just a regular 2-3P adv, for a channel to use ;)
i think party chat is mandatory, as it is now is stupid

we thought this 1 up in guild a Cpl of weeks ago, gr8 idea hope bb takes it up. and please not purple on black, give us summat us older players can actually see
I'd suggest before doing anything else to the chat, that devs make it lighter. Chat is the game crasher.
