It says its in maintenance. No warning no nothing, just bang disconnected. I just built my copper mines and was buffing them. Amongst other things. I cant seem to find an announcement for it or a forum post. Anyone know what the...is going on? Very rude to be kicked like that for maintenance without warning.

It's not just the one server the american servers went down too.
Also got kicked and cant get back on :-(
I have a feeling this is unplanned, I find patience is the best approach while they work to resolve the issue.
was just about to finish VTV under 6 hour for achievements, hope it is back up soon so i can find some loot spot buyers and finish it off in time:mad:
luckily i still have over 3 hours remaining, hope that is enough.

My gold chain stopped and my town is probably dying! Anyway, since if the server is problem game it self should have stopped.
Hopefully they can resolve this fast and send me some fat compensation in form of gems :)

IT guys are trying to fix it..they had a problem with a thunder storm...keep an eye on the facebook page for more details and notification of when the game is back online

U can Always follow TSO on twitter. there whas written abbout the probs with servers after lightning from weather.
Hi guys, understand this is frustrating, as I player myself I feel it. I'd like to be able to add but there is nothing coming out, patience is required at moment. If I find out anything I will post it. I need to login soon because of daily too
Seems to be working now.
Issue seems to have been causes by the thunderstorm, which caused major issues to the Data Centre, no only for all Settlers Servers, but Anno-Online as well
I could not get on at 7am to rebuff or stop my Gold/Exo/Science stuff. Now I can log in but not access the game (4.5hrs later). So yet again my economy is nuked.
Since lightning is "an act of God", perhaps he is trying to get a message to BB, that he has lost tolerance?
The disruption in rebalancing and restarting the economy lasts as long as the outage. A few gift buffs don't really do it - perhaps a free gem pit? A year on prem?

Think most are now getting in,I can understand frustrations, but Nature rules in the end, and I guess nothing could have prevented this, Oh for the record, I work in server rooms, non Ubi BB related btw, if the infrastructure serving the rooms is damaged, nothing will get in or out. Strike could have landed well away from room and building for that matter, for it to stop all comms, but this is my conjecture and not an official BB or Ubi statement. But we are in so lets get on with it, I'm sure BB will get back to us

I had premium time running but this has now gone so I lost 6 hours of use

More like 12 hours, and now it is up and running it is time for me to go to bed then i have work so where is the 24 hours compensation i have lost??????
A company like blue byte should not take that long to get it back up and running no matter what the cause, they are incompetent
And please stop telling people to be patient when the message below so obviously says that they have already extended the premium time to affected premium players, otherwise they should use the words "we will" rather than "were extended".
Given the mess since last Thursday I would suggest people have a bigger right to comment on the statements made by BB rather than accept the suggestions of a MOD who obviously has no further information than the rest of us mushrooms...Quote:

Nothing was added! Yday before crash I've started SoTV (played around 1h30 min), today when servers went back online I finished it. Total gameplay was about 3h and surprise surprise: The Ambush achievement - complete SoTV in less than 10 hours is not fulfilled.
I am curious what kind of team works for BB....
