Christmas event 2014 idea

We have been discussing the possibility of having a Santa general at Christmas as we have the MMA and Veteran and Egg Explorers at Easter, we have the Grim at Halloween and Poor Christmas don't have a special general/explorer or geologist

But in our global discussion Santa general had most ideas around him, such as him riding a Sleigh not a horse
and 1 player even suggested a quest chain of stop the Grynch before he destroys Christmas.

If anyone else has any ideas please post them in this thread as it hit me today that Christmas is the only event so far that we don't have a special general

santa general (250) that fires bauble bombs as a added attack so a bit like the martial arts gen

How about an Elf explorer, similar to the Lucky explorer. I'd more of those, please.

i agree, we need specialist on christmas event
maybe super geolgist, can find 2x bigger deposit

there should be a elf gen.....simple as that and he should be riding Rudolf the rednose raindeer.

Technically Santa is caring all the presents for the good behaving kids in his bag, so a QM-type of general seems plausible to me, why not even double the size?

yeah that's a good idea as at the minute only level 50 people can get quarter masters from epic market so those who cant do FT advs do miss out on him and the Major in that respect so have to keep sending gens back and forth to ferry troops like we did before QM's
But i also like the shooting baubles idea as well if he was a attacking general.

to be fair all the ideas above I think sound ok and should be considered as we do need a Xmas special type person in the game some how as its the only one that lacks this so far

As its the time off cheer and good will, maybe an explorer who find presents on searches.. free to us all but only here for the event

We have event Gens, we have event Explorers, we need have a event Geologist. 1/3 the search time of a normal geo.

Looking at the current price in gems for a medipack in the merchant it's unlikely to ever happen.

I'd like a Christmas fairy, who can be sent out daily and place a bag of rainbow snow on a random workyard, or turn half of those collectable barrels into random event collectables through out the year...but only if your good ;)

Elf Geologist : Finds Granite Mines
Santa Explorer: Finds Rare Buffs and 3x presents
Grinch General: Carries 250 and special attack of some sort

I'd be happy with a general that was the same as a "Normal/Tavern" general in all respect with the exception of travel time. If it could travel to adventures in 15 minutes it would likely be my first Christmas purchase :)

(How is Santa able to visit all the houses in just one night? He has a special Christmas General that travels at twice the speed of a normal general of course!)

For Christmas, an explorer seems to be the most logical specialist. (i would love to have an MMA equiv, or a lucky geo).

This explorer should have a second drop-slot, where it can give any surprise item/rare adv/x4 buff.
For a slightly higher cost of exploration, probably this special explorer can do the task in 1/4th time.

Such an explorer can be sold for gems as well.

That is an awesome idea. :D It could be combined with the geologist: the buffs happen when you send them out to find a deposit.

:D there is loads of good ideas in this now and I am torn now as I like them all hopefully though other ideas will be put in here so we can see what people would like the most

the healing general thing sounds nice but would make our 2x mma attacks to weaken boss camps into 3x which wud make it very eazy to do some adv...

the idea of a general 250unit + attack again will make the game way to eazy also abit of a snub for everyone who worked for mg if theres a better gen outright

also the extra 1000-1500-2000unit general again just makes beans worthless

i think 3x lucky expoloers is enough for anyone

extra recyles makes sense as does a geo who find iron mines with double qty and maybe 1-2 granit pits in again would be a fair bonus apart from people who spent 2k gems on a pit already

valid points but beans would not be worth less as still need them to get major general and stalks etc
and yep we have never yet had a special event geologist so could be option if they wanted something completely new

I'd like a better version of the barracks, being able to build bigger stacks of troops. An event geologist with special skills is a neat idea.
Also like to find out if Rarity Provisions house will be back in for those who missed out.
