A couple of issues with PvP

Hi,

it is probably just my bad luck for trying to be quick, but have run into a few problems along the way:

1) In a few quests the text reads "undefined text" instead of a sentence (only a small issue, but doesn't come across as well checked before going live)

2) After conquering your first colony, you get the quest "Your first colony" with 2 sub quests attached (build up defences is the first). These subquests are locked and say I need to finish the previous quest. Somehow that previous one doesn't register, and strangest about it is: you wouldn't have the new quest if you hadn't finished the previous one!!

3) Didn't receive valour points in loot after defeating the boss and taking control of the colony. Only thing I found were star coins, what's up with that? And no, it wasn''t the training mission, it was a proper colony found by explorer. It is gathering iron ore every 6 hours.

Hope BB sorts these things soon!!

Right, point 3) is solved, being one of the first to try and take a colony, i got screwed. You only get valour points for taking over a colony from another player, but because almost no one has conquered colonies, there are none. Only new colonies are found by the explorers until a few more players take control of colonies, and the new colonies only give star coins. So if everyone is in it for the valour points we can all just sit and wait until people get their troops killed on new colonies.

I am having same issue with 2) and noticed 1) aswell. I am stuck at building up your defences quest.

any response from BB re 2).. Ive built defences up on 3 colonies now, not that I mind but would be nice to be able to crack on..

Are you sure they are star coins, last time I looked on test they was using the star coin graphic for valor points iirc. With a promise that a proper graphic would be produced at a later date.

I completed the "off into the unknown quest" but the next quest doesn't recognise it as completed so I can't continue. I have defeated a new colony and claimed it, but I can't defnd it (next quest)

The point of the quest not completing has been helped by maintanence today, so now a few more rewards for valour points worth buying and I am happy :-)

I sent a marshal and approx. 70 troops off to do the training expedition.They disappeared.Quest is gone.

+1 on 1), 2) and 3), also conquer island with iron ore production, no valour points.

EDIT - i run active "traditional adventure" so my explorer cannot search for new colonies:
4) my explorer cannot search for another colony, because i have reached maximum number of colonies....and i only conquer one (two days ago)

I believe that if you are running a traditional adventure, that adventure occupies your 1 allowed starting adventure slot - which includes the pvp expeditions - once your current adventure is finished you will be able to start a search for new expedition.

I am new to this game only started in december and I am level 35 now. Sorry if my comments are in the wrong palce or if someone else alredy wrote this.
I would have loved to be warned about not getting any marshals, not using any resources and not buiding any of the buidings for this part of the game, but I was just trying to do the quest, not really knowing what this was for.
My point is this:
At level 32 or about there you have plenty to do collecting resources for clearing off your island and for doing the adventures. Getting enough iron and coins to collect enough resources to do this part too, is too much.
If you do the quest about the pVp you get stuck with 3 marshals you have no use for what so ever, if you end up finding out that this is really not for you, at least you can get your tropps killed so you can get room again for the normal troops. 150 or more troops are a lot at this level.

This part of the game should wait until you are at level 50. Make it clear what it is about so that players dont use resources for something they are not going to stick to.
Make it possible to dismiss troops and generals, so you dont need to have them on your map and in your menu if your are not going to use them.

The problem with the pVp is that the troops are far to expensive, and to be honest - the battle grapics sucks, it is very confusing and not something I want to use any more time and effort on.
