Right now generals and marshals are of same type and just added in order of purchase.
Since they are used for completely different things they should be sorted separately.
Current sort order: Generals and Marshals/Explorers/Geologists.
Suggested sort order: Generals/Marshals/Explorers/Geologists.
OCD in me wont let me buy any Marshals even if i wanted to until this is resolved :D
Noone else is bothered by this? Imagine for a second that you are playing PVP :D
Are the Marshal icons very different from General icons or smth?
oho a lot...... i made even the mistake to buy a marshal and now sits between slow explorers and fast ones...
anyway this is good idea ofc, an another one , since we talk ab star menu, the baskets have to get a better logic, im so sick of searching incomplete stacks, or give a normal way of re-stacking them :(
+3 to being able to sort the star menu - I would like to be able to do this is all star menu tabs (since it's the same UI it should be easiest to add it for all tabs).
Ive been asking for nearly 3 years for the ability to sort generals into some sort of order. Still waiting!
And all other items in star menu should be sortable, or able to stack ... this would avoid having multiple icons for every piddling little loot handout
it help too if we can get back the marshals back to the star menu when no in use it will get some space we could for somthing more important !
All generals close to each other but these two... in separate position why they are not near the rest? Its really annoying for looking them.

In light of recent 'improvements' this can only end with marshalls getting their own tab and everything else remaining exactly as it is now.
To all of these posts, I agree there must be a better way
it's annoying that we can't rearrange generals, explorers and geologists in order. an example could be.
Explorers: 3 Lucky Explorers; 3 Experienced Explorers; 3 Savage Scouts and so forth.
Generals: Mg, Vet, MMA, Brighthead, Regular, Santa QM.
I find it annoying that specialists is a complete mess because stuff is added in order it's purchased.
::E:: For four+ years, players have been asking for the order of generals/explorers/geologists to be reorganised. As we know they are shown in the order of purchase. This means nothing to most of us, who would rather have the opportunity of grouping together all of 1 type instead of searching through maybe 25 or more, to find the 2 MoD's etc.
I for one would like to have all my vets together, all my BHG's together, etc etc..... and no, I'm not really OCD about it..... well maybe just a tiny bit.
Look at it from a military parade point... you don't see the bigwigs hobnobbing with the recruits, lol
There's probably a dozen threads about this, buried in the dungeons somewhere, so I thought it time to resurrect the idea.

I agree with TheFairy, all generals, explorers and geologists should be sorted (or making doable for us sorting them as we wish, at least).
I think I saw another post mentioning that today in fact. I completely agree that we should be able to order the generals as we see fit. There is an order - but it's purchase order within the type of general, and not intuitive to me. I would think it wouldn't be that hard to add a key (index) to the table and let us set that key so that the display is how we would like it. The only problem I see is that I can't think of a screen that allows anything like that, so a new interface would have to be developed. Then what would follow is "why not the entire star menu and all buffs, adventures, resources".....
I would love to see it but I suspect the cost of the change places it later than other changes they probably want to make.
Regardless, I'd love to see it and I think it would be a great enhancement.
I presume the easiest alteration would be to change the sort order to type from purchase order. I'm sure this would make ALL settlers much happier... any other change suggested would lead to more data sent between user and server and we all know where that leads :)
Yes, I know this thread was initially started back in 2015 and it would be nice to just know that this is being considered. It is highly annoying when you are trying to assign troops and you see that your generals are not put together because nobody is going to have all their tavern generals bought at the same time, especially when the final one costs 20k coins.

A group together button for our explorers and generals in the star menu, it is testing my OCD to the limit having them all mixed up lol :P

I like this idea, would also be nice to have a search box to save scrolling through loads of adventures to find the one you want.
