im sorry i canceled the daily after i received new ones. i did try to pause/unpause a hunter didn't help.
Yeah, had this once, cancelled and moved onto the next
Was reported on help today again with someone who had only level 5 hunters. Suggestion was to build a new one and upgrade to lev 2, but too much effort for a 50 iron ore reward!
I have this bug today, I will screen shot and send to support. I have 1 level 5 hunter (and lots of level 5 deerstalkers)

I had it as well and I sent it to support. I was told that they know of the problem. I am currently trying to get them to send me the 50 iron ore they owe me.

I have the same issue. My Hunter is at level 5 to. Is there opened ticket or not?
This quest requests an upgraded hunter.
What does this mean?
I have a hunter level 3.
The daily quest does not recognize this upgraded hunter.

I have a Daily quest the Deer crossing.
All the quest says is this: "Have at least 1 upgraded Hunter"
I have a lv5 Hunter. It's not paused and the hunter is working normally. It is NOT a waiting quest. I also have several lv5 Deerstalker huts.
The quest stands at 0/1 and has been so for hours. I have tried logging off and back in. Either the text in the quest is insufficient or then there is a bug because i could not be any more certain that I do in fact have an upgraded Hunter.
Two more threads started today regarding this bug...
If a fix is not imminent, then it should be removed from the rotation until such time as it is.

The devs don't work like that because this bug only affects the players in a bad way. If we actually gained something, it would have been gone within the week.Quote:

I've just had a reply from support. The quest only works if you have a level 2 hunter. So their solution is to build another hunter and upgrade it, to get 50 iron ore as reward they expect me to waste res and a license on building and upgrading a hunter that I don't need or want and won't use. Thanks for the help there BB, showing your utter disregard for the players yet again!

What support is suggesting is a workaround as that is the only way to complete the quest at this point.
Why not remove it until it gets fixed?

A halfway competent team would just remove it from circulation but they don't do that. They never do any roll backs on deployed code even when it completely breaks the game. Or if your theory is correct, which seems likely, they could spend a full 5 minutes to fix it.
Anyway, I have a better temporary solution that worked for me. I sent a support ticket demanding the 50 iron ore to be sent and then I deleted it. Support can send you resources if they want. I suggest everyone uses that solution until the fix the problem. Maybe they'll work fast when their own support staff is telling them to sort it out. But based on what I've heard, that's not very likely.

Issue still exists, just got the dq and going to cancel it only have lvl 3 and lvl 4 hunters so its not worth it to build and upgrade one to lvl 2 for only 50 iron ore

I have two Hunters with level 3, and I got Daily quest: "Deer crossing" - Upgrade at least 1 Hunter". As I have already upgradet thought it will be marked by game as resolved - but no - it hanging least a couple of weeks like unresolved :-( . I approached for help to support and received an answer that is solved only by the construction of new Hunter and then must by upgradet it. Because for me it is not necessary to have more Hunters then I will have demolished it at end quest. So resources I get at the end as a reward are less then the resources used to win this daily quest. The question is whether daily tasks designet for our willingness to solve tasks to reduce or increase?
