Hi All,Thought the adv within quests were to be altered,as see that IOTP is still there and it's a GQ this time. It's not fair BB to keep it there as one cannot buy it anymore from the shop either in the adv slot or as it went to the guild slot,so the only place now is the TO where people are being overpriced for it. So please do the right thing and alter the adv so that we can play the game reasonably and not having to cancel quests all the time as too expensive to buy the adv.
When you say it's not fair I'm going to presume you mean it's an adventure not available for map fragments, what you going to do if they replace it with say Sons of the Veld which is available for map fragments ?
The shortness of iotp is noticed in every guild, it means cancel the gq if some don't have it or it will take a while before it's done.Quote:

Every aspect of GQ are broken, barely any of the quests given are worth the GGC they repay, you'd be far better off selling whatever the GQ asks you to do on the TO for far more GGC or GC. The whole GQ system needs to be ripped up and thrown away not just the quest for IotP. But if it is I don't think the vast majority are going to like what replaces the stuff that's there now.Quote:

Ok... this may sound silly but why haven't you got loads of IotP's? Just send out some Explorers, they are easy enough to find. I usually have 4 or 5 in my star menu.
I am aware that most are only sending explorers for treasure at the moment because of the Easter Event but that is a short term thing and hardly a reason for saying that the GQ's are bust.
GQ's do have problems, but not the one you say.
Ahh your the one :p :D prior to the event starting I was sending three of my explorers on addy searches daily ( short or medium ) and only gotten two IotP's since November :( So I figured someone else was having a better time. The drop is below the need, or the price in TO wouldn't be as high. It is still one of the things that needs more work on the`rebalancing' theme by the Devs....when they remember that they still have a way to go in that area.Quote:

I'l level 43, and it's not uncommon for me to be asked to complete "The Island of the Pirates" adventure for a guild quest, frequently 3-4 times in a row, and probably every second guild quest on average to be sure.
Why is that a bug? Well that adventure is no longer available! According to the Wiki the drop chance for adventure searches is about 3% and that's it, it can no longer be gotten from the adventure store for map parts and the market price is just silly now (~3500 gold per copy). Sure some higher level guildies still have a few copies, but supply is dwindling and I don't like having to rely on their charity to complete every other guild quest.
Either put it back in the adventure store or replace it with some other adventure in the guild quest pool already.

Because IotP is bloody rare, not sure how accurate the Wiki is but it says 3% drop rate and that seems about right, so you'll find 3 on average for every 100 explorer trip, I've had every explorer doing nothing but search for adventures a whole week and they all came up dry, adventure search is just not a reliable way to get one in time. If they where so easy to find why do you think people are selling them for 3500 gold at the trade office?Quote:

They were always expensive even before the event and should have been removed from the guild quest. Any adventures or scenarios in a guild quest should be available in the shop for map fragments

...but, as Bluesavannah (Cheers! \o/) mentioned,
if GQs become "fixed" in a way DQs got, then the whole GQ system could be thrown away for good, meaning what if IoTP become replaced with Sons of the Veld or Dark Brotherhood, or even Invasion of the Nords (sells for gems !) ? And seeing how they do the fixes it could easily happen...
A kind suggestion, make your Guild leaders and officers pay more attention at waiting GQs and reset them when needed :)
Better without the quest than unnecessary expenses and cancelling due to maintainance becouse a few didn't make it.
EVO cancel the following as soon as they appear as 'waiting'... very occasionally this results in us not having a guild quest for a few hours, but usually we can cancel a couple and still have one waiting when we complete.

Shooting down the moon - IotP
Geology day - IotP
Big city life - IotP
The adventure seekers - DP
Winter might come - Nords
The good generals - XB & K
Still waiting for them to do something about IotP coming up in GuildQuests. It seems to be on high rotation meaning that it appears nearly every 2nd or 3rd quest but it is still completely unavailable in merchant and not common for searches.
how long will this go on. IOTP in GQ again today......sigh!

I do not normally go on forums and give my opinions about something, but I am getting frustrated with the Guild Quests. The ones I am going to complain about are the named adventures, for instance : The Island of Pirates, Dark Priests, The Nords, Black Knights and I think Traitors is in there somewhere but we do not get it. Why I hear you say, all good adventures. Well yes they are but, let us look at the problems.
Pirates : You cannot buy in the Merchants, overpriced in the T.O.
Dark Priests : You cannot buy in the Merchants, overpriced in the T.O.
The Nords : 2,250 Guild Coins in Merchants, 695 Gems in Merchants.
Black Knights : 295 Map fragments in Merchants, 495 Gems in Merchants.
Also Dark Priests appears in the same Quest as Black Knights, but for different levels.
First let us take into account the reward, which is a maximum of 136 Guild coins if you are level 46, or over, in a large Guild with 56 or more members. 17 for personal reward + 119 Guild reward.
Not all players have 10 or more Explorers looking for adventures every day so there is bound to be a shortage of the above mentioned adventures and to me the cost is prohibitive even if a guild could buy enough Pirates and Dark Priests, bearing in mind all Guilds that bother to do them will be trying to buy them.
Apart from Pirates they have loot spots which we try to share but in a Guild with members from countries all over the world it is not possible to cover everyone even if we have enough adventures.
Now I do not expect to get the Guild coins without having to put some effort into the Guild quests, but if you cannot do it then you cannot do it, and I do not expect Guild members to pay out more than they receive in the reward.
So I think there should be no named adventures in the Guild quests as whichever you have, the price will rise in the T.O. Lately I am fed up cancelling the above quests as we get them all too often.
I wonder if it would be possible to make it so you could cancel a guild quest? The result would be that the total requirement would get counted and fulfilled , but the player that cancelled would not get the reward. That's one idea. Another would be that the guild leader could cancel the whole thing (assuming his membership agrees).
I think the intent was to get the guild working together - trading adventures and helping each other out - in order to solve such problems.
But I agree overall that if there is no way to cancel the quest and there is no reasonable way to get the adventure, they should be removed. It should be the case that all adventures asked for in guild quests should be available for either map parts or guild coins. Seems only logical.
Daily quests are different - if you don't like it, just cancel it.
Guild leaders and any rank they grant the power to are able to cancel guild quests.
Based on that then - it sounds like there is a work-around at least (if it's not changed that all guild quest adventures should be available with either guild coins or map fragments - which I prefer).Quote:

finally... but still the other GQs are stupid, like paying gunpowder or cannons for a few guild coins. BB please do some changes in GQs
