the current statues are now so old, most can be got for pennies on TO and most players who want them have them already.
I suggest a graphics change for them and make the old one defunct and rename and replace them with newer models. But even better, make them worth having by allowing say 10-15 settlers in them. These 10-15 settlers could be called caretakers or whatever...
For lower level players struggling for population, this would be a great help in the early stages
nice idea :) - and you might make them upgrateable - so that we have something to use them for when we have 10 50 or more of the same statue.
I would also like to see some additional purpose in getting statues and/or placing them. Even an achievement of "have x type y statues on your island"
That's a great idea, jolly. I like the idea of making them useful, and yes it would help lower level players. I have frequently ended up just deleting them out of my star menu. There's only so many horseman statues and angel monuments that you can cope with.

While I can see that having pop holding statues would help the lower levels I don't not agree with the capacity suggested, to my mind 5 pop would be better. As for the suggestion that they then be up-gradable I'm totally against that as that would discourage players from removing them when they obtain proper housing.
lower levels have houses for pop and higher levels have other buildings for same thing, but using those extra 50 horseman statues in star to make a fancier version is a very cool idea :)Quote:
