this is very annoying

after i cancel and start new expeditions again i got map boos on same positions

losing my strength points because i must cancel two expeditions i lost 4 points.
this happens only on tier 2 expeditions
I had that few times before. For me it is not connected with the tiers, as i got it on tier 1.
But hey at least you have a boss :)

on tier 2 this is very annoying. on tier 1 only 1 time i was not able to attack, but on tier 2 on every second map i can't attack
this is not that big problem as for boss camp, but still is a problem

I guess that this bug is random(maybe on specific colony maps) and u have a "bad day".I never had it on tier 2,but i was not too long there.Quote:

A day later i found exactly the same bossless colony. So it really looks like that there are specific bugged colonies....
There can be similar map with no problem maybe, but the enemy camps will be on different places.

I have occasionally come across an unattackable camp on PVP. I've seen others mention this, but at this stage I think it deserves its own thread.
I have never had it happen with a player camp, and it doesn't happen on every map.
I can put my mouse over and select the camp and see what troops are in it. But when I go to attack it with a marshall, I cannot select the camp.
So far in my gameplay, I've still been able to defeat these camps as they will still intercept an attack.
Today was the first time I've had it happen with a leader camp. Thankfully it wasn't the map boss.
Here's a screenshot even though it looks like every other leader camp. I was able to clear the whole map except for this one last camp. Large tier 3 titanium colony.

Please add your own screenshots as you experience this annoying bug. Let's record how many times this happens.
This is happening to me right now - and of course its the map boss.
Can hover over camp, but as soon as the cross hairs light up, it flashes and disappears - effectively making the whole thing useless.
Have tried refreshing etc - to no avail. Any ideas?
I've seen this many time on tier 3 huge colonies. But only with badit towers. Not seen it in leader camps or player camps yet.
trotty88, I also tried refreshing. Nothing works. It is as though another invisible layer blocks clicking on the camp. Was your map also a tier 3 large colony? Is this only happening on large tier 3? Also, if possible do post a screenshot of which camp it is next time you see it, in case there is a pattern we can show the devs.

I have had this twice now on a regular colony! The only way the camp can be attacked is by it intercept another attack, but then you can't retreat because the general is instantly in the camp you originally attacked, even worse you loose all your remaining troops and the general's life but amazingly no troops are lost in the camp. Come on BB get your act together!
Just attempting to attack another regular colony and I find there is again an "unattackable" camp, are they in every colony?

BB don't care too much. bug was reported first time before 7 or 8 month.
instead to fix major bugs, bb work on new content with more bugs
I don't play colonies because of that bug.

Knowing this bug is here, I'm thinking that those of us who have experienced it need to check maps when we start, to make sure that the boss camp at least can be targeted. It's tragic to find out about it right at the end.

Dear developers, moderators, BB_Ravel,
I think the camps affected by this bug are in the same position on the same maps. We need testers to load maps and try to target each camp to isolate all camps that are affected. We need developers to work out why these camps can't be targeted by marshalls for attack even though we can mouseover and see what is in the camp, and these camps will still intercept attacks.
This bug affects maybe one or two camps in a whole map, maybe one in a hundred. When it's a boss camp, it is extremely disheartening! Players who don't play this mode of the game look at threads like this and decide not to try PVP at all, even though there are plenty of us who are enjoying PVP.
I've found a matching thread in the German speaking forums.
Please give me a sign that you have seen this thread and reported it!

Thank you for the info! This issue should be fixed with the next game version.
I spot few on tier 3 medium maps. Looks they appear in the same places. No screen here, I play small ones as they look to be this bug free.
BTW - to avoid supprises (especialy with the map leader) I used to send one general first. Then hoover in attack mode over each important camp to check for this bug.
You don´t have to send a marshall for that,just use the "ghost marshall".
You can identify all non-attackable camps easily by pointing them.
Hah, I used to send one marshall before the ghost camp was introduced. Right - use a ghost.
Sadly, the fix for this issue did not make it into tomorrow's deployment. I will let you know when it will be implemented as soon as I get more info.

In an Huge promising colony expedition I cannot send a final attack to the map boss. :-(
I have done several expeditions, but in the current one, there are no highlighted attack swords on the final castle :-(
It flashes for a fraction of a second but when I manage to click so fast to activate the attack, I cannot select first troop type to attack (there are no options). Therefore, the attack cannot be sent at all :-(

Ive had this happen twice I was told it was a bug which will be cleared by a new release of the game at some point sadly the same thing happened to day and I was given the trusty old stand by to clear the cache which i m always doing anyway.....
least last time I got a mass of titanium to make up for the resources I lost...but its troops, weapons and time.... not to mention the planning and thought...effort consuming for a game only to have a bug spoil it. Its a bit naff that several people have written here and theres been no response - the least they could do is message all players and take the faulty part of the game out of play until its rectified. To be completely honset the whole expedition part of the game needs a rethink...personally I still regard it as a quick and 'easy' way of tackling colonisation bypassing the whole issue of ships and shipbuilding - which is what a game called settlers should be all about ....

Had several of these a while back.
Contacting support is pointless - after being asked what tier camp etc and for what resource (coal)- I was credited an unknown amount (possibly none) of coal as compensation.
No recognition of troops/ weapons / resources lost.
It seems after all these months, there is still no fix other than to check before you start the map.
