Since the names of the generals aren't listed, the only way to decide between which ones to send is the army they have loaded. Would it be possible to increase the height of the window so that the last two generals' armies are shown as well?

That has always annoyed me.
Agreed on resizing the window for seeing whole generals' info. Not sure if this isnt deliberately cut off so you dont get confused which set of generals you are looking at. The name change you mentioned should fix it easily and therefor should be requested also, the info what type of general you are looking at is already encoded into picture of such general and thus it is redundant.Quote:

Yeah, suggested a long time ago as well as moving the notification pop-up away from the population icon because as it is you can't see your population count or troops when something happens on the island. No response to that one either.
To be fair, there are much larger issues so I can see where these might be lower on the priority list, but I would also think a relatively easy fix that shouldn't affect much code. Just a guess though, code can be weird.
This is a great idea
you can hover over that general and it does show what they have in there. it is annoying but probably bigger fish to fry..
More interesting is how this got released in the first place. Someone must have looked at it and thought: this looks perfect, lets never change it.

And if possible, please resize the slot of each general. I think the text "Current mission: Waiting for orders" is unnecessary, because the generals won't be showed here if they have any other status. Therefore, we can shorten the horizontal axis a bit, and make it into a 3x3 list.
And, a check-box to select/un-select All would be nice.

Could we PLEASE have some consistency in the window that comes up when sending troops to an adventure.

Each of these are start points with no generals away from my island. It would be so much easier if the generals were grouped by type - or better yet, if they took the sequence from that used by the Star Menu.

Good idea. The star menu sorts them completely wrong though and the new sorting feature does nothing useful. I'd like to see biggest gens first (qm, mg, vet, mma, etc) in star menu. For sending gens with loaded troops first still ordered by size could be good. Sometimes I send an empty gen to adventure though like when an mma returns from ls and is sent to my adventure.
Actually, I have my star menu in a sequence I am happy with. I had to rename my generals, but it works.
My strategy:
MMA: A1, A2...
MG: B1, B2
Drac: C1, C2
MoD: D1
BHG: E1
Grim: G1
Tavern: T1, T2, T3, T4...
QM: Q1, Q2 (Claus is Q3)
Default sequence then puts MMAs all together, then MGs, etc. If the Send Army window stuck with that, I'd be happy.
As Wulfmeister said it is easy to choose the order of generals in Star Menu. Send general window should use the same order.
I agree. I have generals (& explorers & geologists) named in Star for the order that suits me - would like to see the same order for available generals in the Send menu.
I strongly disagree with any naming convention which dictated by a bureaucrat who has had their imagination surgically removed. Prepare yourselves for the arrival of my Dracs who will feast handsomely tonight.
This is one of my biggest annoyances in game.
1. Sorting should be consistent and done the same way as in STAR menu
2. The Send Army dialog is not showing three full rows of generals so mousewheel scrolling is way off
This is annoying but the biggest annoyance is the chat cursor focus change. "head own typing this and that", look up and none or very little has been typed
I completely agree. It stuns me (and annoys me greatly) that when sending generals the order is clearly random - in fact I have closed the window, immediately re-opened it, and I see the generals in a different order. It's bizarre.Quote:
