Can we have a central compiled thread of our suggestions similar to THIS
This way we could either search it first rather keep on repeating the same ideas all over the forum,or add our views and interpretations to them via the links.
Im sure it would be easier for BB to keep track of what we are after overall, and also to respond in time on each point

Totally agree. The forum is chaotic and we see the same/similar ideas being put up again and again in suggestions. There needs to be a cull of threads that have either been ruled out or that have now been implemented. The idea of an index thread is brilliant and deserves gems :P

personally I don't like the search, I never seem to use the right keywords so more organised would be good, but...
the more times the same or similar suggestion appears the more it shows bb how us players feel about a certain subject.

it seems bb can't even move a message down a few pixels (which is just a matter of changing 1 number) or make a move to top button (which is much easier than moving up 1 place), so I won't hold my breath.
I am pretty sure we have several treads like this where people had same idea. The problem is that nothing happens - we get no feedback what so ever. Some time passes and someone else makes the same kind of tread again. The same suggestions pop up again. We get no feedback what so ever ... and the story goes on and on....
It would be nice to have a tread and to have BB give feedback and maybe make a list with suggestions and improvements that they agree with us needs to be done. If something is on that list we dont need to write it again and again...
Many of the things that pops up again and again. Like to not have the pop up messages cover the population window in top left of screen is improvements that I do think BB can agree with us on. So it would really be an improvement if we did not have to ask for it so many times and never get any feedback.
That said, I am afraid this is just going to be number... in the list of similar treads that I doubt we get any feedback on :(
We have made this sticky thread in order to make more sense and structure to the forum Game Suggestion thread.
The recommendations within the stickied thread are there so that it is easier for players and BB to see the merits and views of each separate suggestion.
Anyone who has ideas on how the forum may be made more user friendly are welcome to post suggestions or recommendations and this would be looked upon very favourably when they send in their forum moderator application.
It does not make much difference how the forum is arranged if we never get any comment or feedback on them from BB.Quote:

Hi Dryad, the recommendations and suggestions in the stickied post are indeed useful but when real activity doesn't work that way it would be helpful if there were a little more oversight and organisation behind the scenes. The heavy forum silences and scattered duplicate threads may be helped some by putting more responsibility on the players but they'd be helped more by visible interaction and some [in colour] tidying, this is true across the forum and not just in Game Suggestions. For a while there were several plaintext players who kept their eyes open and would nudge if duplicate threads were posted but most of them seem to have given up.Quote:

Of course we of playerside can do better and be more organised, but when we make mistakes or even choose to spend our time in the forum it would be encouraging if there were a few more signs there is a point to it all. Clearly faith remains in the playerbase since people still post and it would be nice to have some visible support for that faith.
Subtle. ;) Aside from the last Official Word being that there is now a bigger forum team than ever there's a decent chance there might be more applications if it looked more like one would be joining a team that is invested in the forum and in the feedback there. MODs and BBs are busy, this is known and appreciated, and often labour under piles of rules that are unknown to those outside the curtain but surely you understand that, for the most part, regular plaintext players only know things that can be seen and what can be seen is the reason people are saying what they are. This is not something the players can fix on their own, no matter how perfectly tidy we all try to be.Quote:

If BB did read the forum and gave feedback. I am thinking something like: "This suggestion we cant see possible at the moment", or "This we are already working on" , or "This is a very nice idea, we will put it on the to do list". Then players would not get the feeling that they where talking to a door.
It would be nice to find a way to organize previous ideas, not sure how it can be done,- but some way to categorize suggestions when they are put, so that it is easier to see in advance if someone already made a tread.
A list of buggs, problems ... that BB does recognize needs to be done would also be nice, then we would not have to suggest for the 50´s or more time that it is annoying that you cant see how many troops you have every time there is a pop up message and other obvious annoying stuff.
It would be even better if some of those issues where actually fixed ;)
Fixing bugs should be the highest priority. The game is freezing and stuttering more than ever and really needs fixing more than new content. Normally (with most software) when new content is released bugs for it are usually fixed shortly after but this has not been the case for this game.

This was just an example of one of the suggestions that have been made so, many times. Maybe it is not a bug, it does not really matter. If it is not a bug it is very poor design and very annoying, and it should not take long to give an answer that it is possible to fix it and a time frame.
If that was done the first time it was brought up, them maybe some of the suggestions for the same, could have been avoided. And yes I agree with Bluesavanh. It would be better to remove suggestions part of forum and say load an clear that you really dont want suggestions and feedback. Saving everyone the time and trouble. I can see how giving feedback to every single suggestion might be difficult and sometimes stuff just turns up that's been suggested. What I personally like to see is some proper feedback from BB on their rational on how stuff gets chosen and implemented. Take Easter for instance, plenty of suggestions have been made about where economies are suffering and on the European servers the consensus seemed to be coal was a bit of a problem, also people love more population. So how did we arrive at an Improved Butchers and a storehouse, the egg house was well received last year and I fully expected it to be in again this year and I definitely didn't expect the Butchers to be the building of choice for an Improved version. Also the removal of floating residence has further limited players from expanding their population without taking up build plots.Quote:
