loot shovel doesn't seem to work, lucky's never bring a bonus set of eggs. Iirc when it was dropping extra event rewards it was so important it was fixed mid event.
On the subject of the bonus set of event rewards that went wrong between the test phase of Xmas event and it going live.
If the coders work really hard I'm sure they can find a bug that negates the reduced search time and make all the books totally useless.
worth adding anything to the above ? i don't think so as everything is pretty obvious...

as removing luckiness in Lucky Explorers from the event search loots :D

and yet again sturdy shovel is rendered obsolete for this event. I raised this 3 months ago and not a word from BB on it, rather disappointed that it not even been acknowledged :(
I get this feeling they did not want the bonus to apply to event resources. So probably not a bug, just a 'fix' to reflect their original true intent.
Which is a shame as I got a dozen explorers speced out to do this
well I mailed this thread to support in the end, and they say theyve had many tickets querying it and they can't find a fix yet.
I have to say, if they had that many, how hard is it to get someone to respond to a public thread such as this one and say "yes, it's broken, but never fear, we are working on it."
