I would rather time was spent putting pressure on getting a Dev Diary out than pulling together a trivia chat event, but hey thats just me and probably the vast majority of the players. :p
i think BB has some complaints about lack of chat comps on EU servers, as they have them quite often on the USA servers Zeus/Ares. i think at least 1 per month on there with gems as prizesQuote:

In respect of notice, I note one days notice of last weeks Q&A, One days notice of the Chat event, half a days notice of recent maintenances... I can only presume that BB like to keep the daily players on their toes and punish shift workers by not allowing them to plan....
A guild that I'm quite close to, is proud of it's international composition - It does seem that some members are able to participate in everything - others not so much. But with more notice, this could allow everyone to plan and participate (and in the case of maintenance, not spend whole days unbuffed).

I would have preferred BB spending time of getting the DEV Diary about Easter event published instead of the Trivia Quiz.
If EU servers have had less chat events than US servers we would probably have survived a few more weeks without...
We can now expect to get the DEV diary less than 24h before start of event :(
Couple thoughts: It's not at all certain that *our* BBs, or the BBs on other servers who did a trivia event now-ish are the same ones responsible for the Diaries. There's a whole swarm of them in different languages and it wouldn't be surprising if they were given/chose different jobs.
(One hopes.)
Because... This one time, at Event Camp... the Diary came out *after* the event started. So long as we don't hit that again, while this may not be ideal. it's not quite as awkward as it could be.

No need for a BB rep to relay the same info over & over, the event starts on tues 0.01 am gmt. I assume the French have already started the event as well, hopefully with no hiccups.
What I would expect BB to do is give an immediate update if the event is held up & it looks like it isn't.
Settlers online wiki has every bit of info needed as well as event adv loot drops.
