Simply put, a lot of us have been around for a very long time and I'd take a guess that a majority of the community have many Explorers
I currently have:
2x Courageous Explorers
1x Experienced Explorer
3x Intrepid Explorer
7x Lucky Explorers
13x Savage Scouts
3x Regular Explorers
That's 29 letters arriving in my inbox, pretty much every day
I made a quick mock up of what I mean to help combat the amount of mail hitting an inbox at the same time

It's not that they don't know how to do the UI but what happens when they are accepted at once. From what I recall all of the issues are related to server load because multiple things are happening per accepted mail, ie. quests are checked, achievements are checked, storage capacity/star stacking performed, etc.
This has been asked at test server forums multiple times and BB has responded to these almost once a year. From all of the answers I've seen and remember they have said it's not happening. As Mannerheim said, the Devs have responded to this question in the test forums. They tried a collect all mechanic but found that even in the development environment the amount of lag generated was unacceptable.
Too much lag generated really is not a good excuse, that just means the current way the explorers are being handled is poorly implemented. A good example is how buffing used to work versus how it works now, ie you can spam them now rather than using 1, waiting 5 seconds, using 1, waiting 5 seconds etc.
Can you imagine if they had refused to add the bulk queue to the barracks or the provision house because of "lag created", the game would have died long ago if you still needed to queue troops manually 25 at a time :P
It's not just opening the mail either, there could do with being a way of bulk sending out explorers too. Anything to reduce excessive clicking without any automated decision making taking over is good in my opinion.
Also bear in mind that other features have been added that open up alternative options, for example the resource stacking in the star menu is relatively new, with this in the game they could just make it so all resources are added straight to the star menu rather than being mailed, you can still complete quests "acquire x resources" by just using them from the star menu, they do not need to arrive by mail to complete the quest.
Yes it's poorly implemented and I think they even said it somewhere that so much has changed since the original implementation in the case of multiple features. However the game is nearing it's EOL so they are probably not going to use time on features that take a lot of work and have little gain compared to making new content or improving things that affect majority of the userbase. Queues and resource stacking affected everyone while the explorer issue affects a smaller group of people.
I also have +30 explorers so I have followed the subject in multiple regional forums and talked about it at test but it just seems a low priority/never happening change.

Seriously, I got a full page of explorers' reports already. Doing it every day is really arduous. And, I still want to get more explorers in the future. Could you please consider:
- Select all the reports and accept all.
- Or make a separate feature to manage this more effectively.

It would be handy at times it appears for some players. I don't mind checking each one because many of them I want to know exactly what was found and which explorer (more so for long/prolonged searches and rarity/artifact) so I wouldn't use it but it wouldn't be in my way to have it there.
To qawpaw's point there is a liability you take on whenever you add explorers, generals, buildings, etc. in the sense of maintaining them. Each element you add requires you to manage it in some way, so I don't see a reason to complain and I agree you don't have to send them all the time.
It might be nice for a percentage of players but I'd put it very far down the list compared to better economic management, sending of generals to adventures, and star menu management improvements - these have been asked for more often by more people and would improve the game greatly.
If sending explorers and handling the results would be easier I would be logging in every single day instead of 1-2 days a week.

"It's ridiculous to have to send 20-30 explorers out daily 1 at a time" I would change to "It's ridiculous that I choose to send 20-30 explorers out daily 1 at a time and I never should have gotten so many of them to begin with because now I don't like it even though I knew how it was going to work all along"
I would expect that a complicated enough interface that would allow ticking boxes for certain explorers then another option/menu that would chose what search to do would get more confusing and complicated and more of a hassle for me, and I vary so much who goes on short, medium, long, etc. that I wouldn't save many clicks at all. Even if it was a choice (different screen perhaps?) I can't think of a seamless way to integrate it.
I would love to buy more explorers, but the amount of clicking upsets me already, please redo the interface or have them set on auto or even being able to select them all to send out together.

what about that the loot is just put where you pick it as standard and you dont have to respond to every single report?
I often dont even open reports any more - just leave them in star to a rainy day when I am really really bored. Leave the reports for a week or 2 to read what you got if you want to.
A new interface wouldn't mean you couldn't also just send them from star. More explorers should be a benefit not a punishment. Right now the more you have the bigger chore it is. I don't choose to send 20-30 explorers out because it's ridiculous. I only send my lucky and the other couple of new fast ones. I shouldn't be punished with boring repetitive clicking for spending 10k gems on the savage scouts. Most of the time I just want to do select all and send on the longest adventure search, or during events it would be treasure search. I don't want to do them all 1 at a time and I don't want to collect their (mostly) rubbish loot in 1 at a time. When I'm doing adventure searches 1 or 2 YW and the rest is junkQuote:
