Festival Hall production broken

Festival hall works crazy, skips productions or buff additions. This time after two cycles instead of 102 gave 64 - which is less then basic production (basic should be 68) without buff although 50 % buff is running all the time. Previously, when I was watching, one of the channels only gave buff boost, not basic amount (6 instead of 18). When I tried donate after each channel finished, all 3 gave correct amount. As it is it's basically stealing about third of my production. This way the event is pointless. :) Somebody help me. Don't want to hassle with support. It's only 2 weeks event. :)

EDIT: Checked another cycle, instead of 51 gave 39 - skipped basic production (12) of one of the channels.

Edit 2: Next cycle gave 34 instead of 51, which is exactly basic production without buff boost (buff still ruining with over 4 hours left)

So it's intermittent bug with no logic at first sight.

I agree the volume of balloons produced is not correct given the buff on it. It is like one of the production volumes is not there

I staggered production and watch all 3 slots produce individually. I was using a petite cake and converting mortars. My middle slot said 21 (as expected) but only produced 7. i.e a decrease of 50% not an increase.

checked mine and its working correctly get 84 balloons every cycle

Petite cake buff not working on my island. Donated all balloons and checked after next cycle - 42 balloons produced from 3x slots all on Mortars, should have produced 63.

The hall does show that the buff is applied and slots should produce 21 balloons per slot, but only getting the base 14 balloons per slot per cycle.

Petite cake buff not working on mine either. Just checked two slots, meant to be producing 18 each but I only got 12 from each.

Any thoughts from BB on that pls? If this does not get addressed promptly and responsibly there's no point for us affected to continue playing as we would just be burning resources for nothing. So would like to know quick if and how that's gonna be sorted. Thanks.

Petite cake buff is broken. After 13 hours i stopped it, because I had in storage same amount of balloons from festive hall, like without buff.

Tried to check -
with petite cake my production should be 3 * 18 = 54
output to store was 42 ( 1*18 + 2*12 )
After reload it was 36 ( 3*12 )
after logging out for 15+ minutes result was still 36

So no effect of buffing.

Other buff seem to be ok - maybe only petite cake broken

I have the same - three queues of 12 unbuffed, hall shows 18 per queue(using petite cake), only 36 delivered.


Closer examination shows this:

Prod queue 1: Wheels. Base 12, buffed with petite cake shows expected delivery of 18 - delivered 18, total in house: 18
Prod queue 2: Wheels. Base 12, buffed with petite cake shows expected delivery of 18 - delivered 6, total in house: 24
Prod queue 2: Wheels. Base 12, buffed with petite cake shows expected delivery of 18 - delivered 18, total in house: 42

for an output 84 I'd guess that's an enormous cake, not a petite cake (14*3*2)

Have same petite cake buff problem. After 24 hours got 1214 balloons, including those from quests. My production buffed is 60 per hour, so I should have at least 60x23=1380 only from the hall. Looks like we have to send ticket as this tread is ignored...

Similar here - for me buff works on 2 queues only then on the other it acts as a deduction - I discovered this as my queues are ending slightly different times. It's not the queue slot of a guildie had same on a different slot so it would appear to be random. Only other thing I can add is that I was using bread on the queue that got reduced.


Update... following time slot produced total of 28 instead of the correct amount of 51. Even unbuffed it should have produced 34 so I received less than a standard production - this is going to be very expensive on resources. Not sure I will continue at this rate.

Update... another reduced count - should have been 12 but was 4 - other 2 slots correct. Interesting thing is when the incorrect one came
in my game froze for a few seconds. For the other two production slots it was fine. Wondering if anyone else has spotted this?

Same story here. But some say it works fine. You have to ask them HOW they buffed the Festival Hall. The ones saying it works fine, will tell you they either placed the petite cake themselves, or they are using the Toolkit. So, it seems the problem is when you swap the petite cake. The Festival Hall will show you everything is correct. But if you check with your storage and do the math, then you will see that you actually did not get the extra 50% Balloons.
I have submitted my ticket to support already. I suggest you all do the same to wake up BB

stop/start works, but you have to do it every cycle (1hr ish) needs fix

Same problem here, buf not working. It was placed by a guildy on prem. Getting normal output (without extra 50% buff)

Again, it is as if the buff was not there.

stop/start tried and not working, non buffed output added to storage.

I have the same problem - have 3 production lanes buffed with petite cake (+50%) with base output 12 and buffed 18. So total should be 54 per hour. Had 1122 balloons an hour ago, now I have 1158, that's 36, so basically as if running unbuffed.

And me :/

This bug has been identified and will be fixed in tomorrow's hotfix. Please read the Change Log update for more information.

Are we to expect mail with our missing Balloons attached then Saqui? I guess flat packed & in need of inflating but I'm sure we can manage that :)

By the time you'll get to fixing it I'll have lost about 800 balloons due to the bug. Change log doesn't mention compensation of losses. Will you include them?

I can confirm part of this: My hall is working fine with petite cakes on it and I've put them all on by myself.

Oh my.... I've been relying on what is showing in the hall and not actually double checking the amount of balloons received. Fortunately up until recently I've been applying the buffs myself. I not sure if BB can adjust for this beyond fixing the problem like they are doing now.

Actually, my problems were on a self-placed Petite.

To the idea of self placed / friend placed. I placed my first buff myself for the quest, and that's when I noticed problems. They continued similar or same way with buff placed by friend. So unless you properly checked the "should be" with reality you're probably suffering a loss without even noticing anything. :)

So any news on whether we will be getting the balloons we thought we were making but actually were not, due to a game error?

You might be hearing from your favourite Aunt Irma soon! ;)

Yes I checked. I have the donation quest ticked and permanently showing on the right of the screen. Each time the Hall has produced the correct amount. I donate it straight away and make sure the amount showing on screen goes up by the amount donated.

Why it seems to be working on some and not others is a puzzler

The screenshots I put earlier in the thread were also from a self-placed petite (for the quest).

However, I swapped petite cake buffs earlier today (after hotfix) and it is working fine now.

600 from Irma for me is less then I lost, but I guess I can live with it. :)
