confirmed same issue started off giving double loot, refills and xp now the buff no longer works this is also seen on the german servers also ..have lost a lot of refills because of the lack buff working
Mine just worked for myself, but not the lootspotter (on an Ali 2nd)
Mine has only worked 1 time out of 5, all the same adv, The Seige and buff active in all
Same, on all 4 lakesides so far
really surprised more havent complained or even noticed ur meant to get x2 loot with the buff or its only affecting small number ppl but the issue is in the german and usa servers so has to be world wide
just redid these buffs as i ran a oil over night now i watched what i placed this time and buffed my wifes farms with cards 1-3 and she buffed mine with cards 4-6 and did two sieges hers and mine and received x2 loot.... no idea if that even made a difference just thought would try as thats how the achievements are listed ...will do a few more while the buff is active to see if the others receive the same x2 loot and xp
When people brought it up yesterday I couldn't tell for sure. I saved all my adv loots after that, but I can't be sure which all had buff active. 1 out of 4 TR loots didn't have double but was ran by someone who for sure did not have it active.
It's also tough to say when advs give low loot or high loot. Sometimes I thought I was getting double but wasn't, only higher value. Since it does not indicate on adv it's hard to keep track of. And basically impossible for an outsider.
Also am not sure what happens when buff runs out and is re-applied mid adv. Guildy indicated it might not have dubled loot then.
further update seems the buff only works on the first adventures after the buff is activated like i said earlier did the buffs a snew this morning did 2 sieges host on one and joiner on other both paid double loot and both was the first adventures ran since the buff was activated on both partys.... now just finished another two and nether for me or the swapper have gained double loot at a loss at to whats wrong
supposed to give friends (prntscr.com/mojmrd) in multi and coops double loot and it doesn't
prntscr.com/mojoxw thats a coop,I know the person that activated the coop has cards running because I placed them..
I never got more loot when Valentine buff was activated on my island. Its bugged. Tried many times!
I get double as host, friends do not.
I get double on co-op someone else hosts too
Update. I zoned out for 15 min, when back in, I let my friend buff my farms with three different card numbers. And it worked. I got 100% more loot!
Update - I just finished another TR as host, no double
Is anything working as intended?
This requires global compensation or another adding of days to the event.. after another hotfix of course.
Update: Apperantely something is still wrong. Now i did not get 100% more. I was not a host of WW that we played.
I have not received bonus loot as a host of an adventure started while I had the buff active as well as no bonus loot as a player in a coop of an adventure started by a player with the buff. Up to now - 0% success with the buff.

The Dev Diary for the Valentine Event has received an update with a clarification on how the Valentine Buff works.
Ok, you got misleading explanation before - problem still stands. As a host (adventure started while with the buff), I did not receive bonus as well. As a player (while also having the buff), I did not receive any bonus. Bug is still there, please don't bury it in some explanations.Quote:

My only 2 times that it worked, was when i zoned out for 15 min and logged back in, then let friend buffed my farms, then started advanture myself. I got it that time, next time i took lootspot and get it again, and after that 5 straight advantures I did not get bonus anymore. No recognizable pattern yet. Will keep updating, but if there is no will to fix this, i will stop bother too.
Started a 2nd thief. Clsoe to end buffed farms. Differnet numbers.
Started a TR later. Both gave double loot.
Update:
Joined another TR and started a Buccaneers, started buffs halfway on last one got double from both.
Menawhiel guildes both with buff up got no extra from a 2nd Thief. Seems compeltely random.

Had 3 cards applied to the fields. Once active I started a dp and killed it. Buffs were still running so effect was still active. Outcome was 3 refills, just as if no buffs on fields. So, what is the point in lower levels bothering to waste all thise nibs to make these field buffs? May as well add 3 snacks to them and let them run out. Pathetic.
sp far some buffs some dont i cant figure out if certain cards work and some dont maybe thats why its so hit and miss...also notice each day when i first get buffed even though the buff is 3 hrs long when buffed by a friend...i get double loot for the first hr any adv started within that hr i get double loot the ones done after that while the buff is still active only give normal loot....but as we can see BB have no intention of fixing this or we would of had another hotfix
I had the bonus loot twice yesterday out of at least a dozen advs. I was most disappointed not to get the double on the 2 x 2nd thief and the oil lamp i did. My farms were correctly buffed with the cards and i had the valentine icon in the area buffs at the top of the screen with the bear picture. Buff was running from before the advs and right through, but still got nothing.
I had specifically waited for a time when i could do 2 2t advs and receive 2 ls of the same from my friend. She got the double loot each time. I did not.
Not working at all today. 2 advantures played, both times got complete minimum of flower refills. Valentine no-buff was active ofcourse!
i am having huge losses because of this bug. I get around 300 flower refills per day with bugged Valentine buff, if buff would be working properly, I would get around 500 flower refills per day, so i am losing 200 refills per day. How much do 200 refills cost? I did not even receive an answer from BB when sending ticket, they just ask me to tell them a time when this happened. What is going on?? At the end of this event, my loss will be over 2 million gc in game currency. I demand this back.
I tried now to buff cards myself. And now it worked, somehow I have a suspicion that for us Valentine buff is working for only 1h, even if friend buffs you. The other 2h will not count. If someone can confirm this theory, paste it here! Thank you
i did think the same but even that doesnt work out as the buffs i had this morning worked for the full 3 hrs 17 minutes...my partner they worked for all except the very last loot when they had 7 minutes left on timer rest had all been doubled and that was 8 sieges spotsQuote:

For now, it always work if you treat Valentine buff to work just 1h. Buffed yourself or buffed by friends, it doesnt matter, you will get 100% loot only if you completed advanture before 1h since farms were buffed.
what a fail buff did alot coop and had bad numbers of flowers in all. yes farms had buff running all day too.
