high res? is that the mobile phone version?
will see in a months time hopefully all the frustration will be gone and the improvements will have been worth the wait wont hold my breathe but am hopeful

how about a sort order when sending gens instead of the random nightmare currently in force? or a better way of sending explos? or better system for loading/unloading/sending gens? a good buff for the bookbinder (instead of yet more glue that no1 uses)?
My eyesight like many other players isnt 100% and i have always struggled to see exactly whats going on, so any slight improvement here is good. However the game has moved on so far that much of the current UI is very clunky and cumbersome, even to the point of ppl not bothering to send explos anymore. I'm sorry bb, but imo this screenshot is nothing to write home about!
Looking forward to testing unity in a cpl of weeks (as stated) :)
A modern version of the interface probably needs windows you can adjust the size of (with the adjustments and positions being remembered).
A fixed size doesn't really work when you have people playing at 720p res but also 4k (and soon 8k) res.
well my eyesight are not 20/20 any more, so reading glasses do the trick.
cant see it as a BB problem in anyway, that problem is personal, how tiresome it may be.
I know its a very trivial update but ... if we can believe it, that is Unity, and it looks like the Settlers we know. Thank you.
It has been such a long time with the rumor of Unity that just seeing any aspects of the game alive on the new platform gives us back so much confidence that our beloved game still has a future - in fact it makes me so happy I may even buy some gems in the next sale !
Don't keep us waiting too long for more updates, and just a hint about when we can explore a beta version of the Unity build via a test server ...... pretty please .....
The tasks container has 4 boxes in 2x2 but still a scrollbar to move it a tiny amount to reveal nothing new. My feedback would be to make that container fit 2 rows of boxes (or make 2 rows of boxes boxes fit the container) and then the scrollbar would only need to be active (or apparent) for 5 or more boxes.
So you are wasting time shaving millimeters from scrollbars and trying to find a better font while the players are waiting to get the Unitity version so that they could play the game (for example Mac and Linux players) without the bubble-gum client setup.
It doesn't matter if the UI isn't perfect on the first release. We just want a working game.
are we gonna be able to play on Mac ??
Its natural people dont bother if you consider the fact that, outside brief periods of time when you have event resources to gain, almost everything explos can do has been outdated for the past half of the games existance, and BB has never indicated they have any plans to update it.

yeah all UI sstuff but less about the fundamental functions we all want to get :D
- vlc roadmap as an example is a good way to show us progress on the process
make sure the code works correctly befor spending millions of hours on UI sstuff - that can be improved later
-- only thing on my wishlist for ui is a seperater like a "." for example 10.000 or 1.000.000 it can be a blank but give us something there

PS: as the flash was dying more then 10 years, what should we expect for TSO?
A visual improvement is always welcome as by the time this is available my eyesight will have probably degraded to the point I will not be able to see it clearly anyhow. Any dates yet for when it will be available, is it in 2021 or later.
Maybe focus on delivering something as the clunky app we have at the moment is painful and seems to always crash when you are using Scouting and takes ages to get back in to. Just what you need when against the clock.
The question I would love an answer to is will we be able to have multiple worlds open at the same time? Yes, I know, Unity is browser based etc, but it would be great to see some statement clarifying this from BB.

I really hope the UI is self-adjusting based on the resolution you are playing at otherwise its doomed to fail.
Please add the ability to be able to dispatch explorers in bulk. Similar how you can send generals to an adventure
Not sure removing the sub-quest arrows is "cleaner", now just looks like holes where something is missing.
Are you checking that the quest log and chat box scale correctly on different size screens? At present they don't and on smaller screens overlap each other and disappear beyond the boundaries of the screen.
Will we finally be able to play more than 1 server at a time like we used to? The client doesn't allow this and as Flash got more bloated even opening a 2nd screen froze or crashed both in the end.
Will our Mac, Linux and 32-bit friends finally be able to play again? Easter event really emphasised how difficult these "co-operative" quests are when half your FL is missing and only 1 guild member can login.
Please get the basics right before messing with window dressing, this is your best opportunity to get rid of game stopping bugs now before they have unknown consequences in this version, don't want to be sat here next Easter with that undefined text jamming up the quests only to find nobody knows how to fix it under the new API.
Assuming Unity does not have the same resource hog, memory leaking behaviour of Flash, please make sure servers are up to handling the load so we can play the game properly again, heavy lag and frequent crashes have driven so many away over the years.
Oh, and please don't bother porting that PvP nonsense, doesn't belong in this game and never worked properly since its imposition in 2014.

No need to much discussion here - only real information in the 'sneak peak' is that testserver is delayed at least another 2 weeks.
That useless water tower, that offers a huge increase to your max population and consumes only space you wouldnt be able to otherwise build on anyway ? in a setting where alot of players have complained for years about limited space on their island ?
I would say its one of maybe 3 things they've done well over the years ;)
can i be rude and disrespectful for a moment please? i dont mean it as an affront but honestly tweking text box minor details ? thats nothing and does not affect the game play whatsoever , im sorry but the issues you should be working on are eliminating lag freeze up not responding issues, making the "send all explorers of this type" a thing to save us long time players literally HUNDREDS of clicks and several minutes each day to just send out the searchers, piddly little polish a little bit of graphic in a text box does nothing for the actual playing of the game game play.
yes you are doing something towards a unity server thats great , but it looks like your efforts and energies are being focussed into something that is trivial instead of main game playability issues. hoping you work on real issues sooner rather than later , leave the spit and polish shiny adornment stuff to later when other long term pressing real issues are sorted.
umm sorry to burst the bubble - its WORSE than that it ISNT 4 clicks but it is : you click star, click the explorer, click treasure , click how long , click to accept and send that's 5 clicks per explore so there's another 63 clicks on top of what you thought :(
edit - just read a reply of pin the star menu , honestly never used pin as i dont need things sitting on top of screen for long periods, but may just try it for sending them out today and see how it goes , 1 clicks saved over 60 odd explorers has to be better than nothing .

If u read the roadmap faq u would know that after transition to unity goes well and the servers are stable they will be working on mass sending explorers feature
