it is about expected from what we seen on test (and reported)

Thinking, always dangerous for me, that I no longer have the time to wait for this game.
Shame.
load time on the high end laptop is slow. Very low quality graphics (back to the 90's), bugs everywhere (making a list will take 2-3 hours) and... no option to use client with a working game. Well, I played 11 months, planned to stay here for a while. Unfortunately, it's absolutely impossible.
I think I'll request a refund for the unused gems I recently purchased and advise you to do the same.
Long load times. Terrible lag in game. Lost a weekly challenge that was open. email list doesn't auto-update. email window too small so two mouse clicks to store stuff. Jut very poor

Also clicking on collectables doesn't remove them from the map or add them to the store. They just sit there with a sparkly aura. This is embarrassingly crap. I worked as an IT project lead in business. If my team had offered this as a version fit for customers I would have fired them and got a new team.
This is indeed a very bad delivery. Maybe I'll go back to an old settlers version.

Not me. At this stage I guess the only way to play an adventure is without blocks.
Shame for the game to end its life like this...
I've done a couple of adventures, ones with no or few troop loss (Dark Brotherhood with a swarm of Younger Gemini) and it's ok. I know other guild members have lost troops on blocks because a block gen didn't send, then the lag means that you can't recall. You also have to double check the general's name to make sure it hasn't selected the wrong one when sending.
I'm hoping some fast fixes are on the way - can't imagine doing an adventure-rich event any time soon, and as for sending explorers out (might start now for Halloween event :) )
All of my specialists have now gone on strike!
Every mine, once found, is refusing to build. Wheatfields are not building when selected.......
why is the game using all my GPU ? very high power, drainned my laptop from full charged to empty in under 20 minutes, is this new version using my GPU to mine Bitcoin without me knowing ?
The biggest problem is star menu - as soon as you open that, all memories overflow and the game bogs down completely- Probably just too many different functions- Maybe the quick and dirty solution is to make 4 or 5 different starmenues for the various fucntions, so a buff menu/item menu/general menu etc instead of separate tabs in the same star menu
Rest runs like a dog pulling a lead cart but it kinda moves :P

Zone refresh every second, star menu is a joke, epic buildings all have 10/20, mines not showing, the list is endless, all reported MONTHS ago.
You and the developers knew about all these bugs MONTHS ago when they were all reported.
What exactly did they do on test server Unity ?
You and the team should be embarrassed in releasing the test2 onto live.
i think you need a new development team, because its the same rubbish that was on test, lots of feed back given from players there, nothing fixed, the game is unplayable

Let's get back to the client version. This one is impossible to play.
Have just put most of my production to sleep and logged off, will check back in occasionally but I fear this is the end, for me at least.

I would have to agree that the radio silence is the worst part and says this was a known consequence of releasing this. I note there is no BB post in the forum extolling the virtues of the UNITY version, the "known" bugs [and more so lack of performance] and next steps in development. No associated dedicated feedback post either to go with it.. only by chance have I now seen a BB response on this as I hadn't spotted it before. I too will be shutting everything down - a task likely to take hours in its own right because the game is unplayable.
How did this even happen? How come you BB people did not know? Some of us, gamers without IT training, could see this coming very clearly. Not being crude, but are there no responsible, smart, forward thinking people on your team? And yet you delivered something worse then our worst expectations. I consider myself to be tolerant and understanding of unexpected difficulties connected with transitioning the whole game to new unknown environment (and I hope this is seen throughout my posts), but this ................... I lack words to express my dismay at your (BB) performance ............... No hard feelings and not attacking you personally, but this current fiasco probably could have been easily avoided just using a bit more common sense properly.
Well, hope you can find a smart way out of this soon as the game is good and many of us like it.

I don't tend to weigh in on game updates and nonsense game versions but I am about to make an exception.
I have been playing settlers my entire life, from the age I could hold a mouse I have been playing settlers. When this new game version launched yesterday my first words were "this looks like original settlers that we used to play on the Amiga, complete with terrible 90s graphics" now that is not a dig at the Amiga and windows 95 (i loved those) but given how much graphics have moved on since then to log in and find the graphics quality to be soo poor and the lagging and loading times to be even worse. Let's not even talk about the fact that I need a magnifying glass to see the words or to overhaul all of my settings for 1 webpage....
I have to say it's almost like you don't want players to keep on playing.
It also seems terribly convenient to me that the support ticket system seems to have mysteriously stopped working 4 weeks before the launch of unity.

I don't understand how this new version ever got the greenlight for release .
There are so many things wrong about it and here are just a few :-
Memory leakage !!!
Windows opening of building under the star menu when trying to send out explorers .
New Mine deposits not being shown on the map .
Mail windows are too small and don't show buttons .
It is possible to delete unopened mail of any type ! ! ! ! !
That's just a few things , anyone playing this game now for the first time would have to think it a pile of rubbish .

Trafffer i think u have been brilliant since taking on ur current role and i have the utmost respect for ur patience and communications. however i have never been impressed with the dev team. they have always seemed to be very amaturish, but this... what a bunch of jokers.
There is no excuse. we're not a bunch of mugs getting in ur way, we are ur clientel, employ some1 on the dev team who gives a toss plz
Still no improvement this morning, just an 'apology' on the home page, I'm not prepared to wait until the next monthly update to see if a playable game is provided.
