I think it was better when the calendar was just a Christmas thing, not sure why it needs to be added to every event unless it is just to chase those gems spent opening missed doors.
A reminder of what happened for the Halloween calendar:
Random rewards led to some people getting multiple premium friend buffs while others got basically nothing
An investigation was mentioned but nothing came of it.
I have no issues with calendars. It's freebies.
Well, it looks like I can't buy any Zoe this event, it says limit reached :/

I had an invitation to a GP LS , but got Connection Lost Hammer man more than a half hour ago and I keep getting them as soon as I try to login

each single YWC caused out of memory message and so game restart, last YWC on the end, instead on confirmation to end addy displayed start of YWC addy and caused javascrip error.
Why have you inflicted this upon us?
The game starts with more zone refreshes than recent experiences, but the moment the party crashers camp appears, the game goes into zone refresh hell, at least once per minute until the inevitable "out of memory" message appears forcing a reboot.
You haven't tested this at all, you've just copied last year's event and brought back with it all the old Unity problems, zone refreshes, out of memory/script errors, near impossible to visit other maps nor send out explorers and geologists.
Shame on you BB, this is once again completely unplayable. :(

Guess this will mean its working as intended even though its marked as you can get one from this event

Why is the Fluffy Butte showing on return from treasure search the icon of the Snowy explorer and seems to have return as snowy
So the dev diary was a lie as it explicitely had the asteriks with the footnote that you could get that number regardless of the previous limits
So either it is once again sloppy work on the dev diary or sloppy work on the dev team implementation and the players suffer for it as a fix isn't in the books ....
And this still happens after happening about 3 times last year, it should not be too hard to make a post event implementation checklist and check the limits ... and avoid this kind of stuff. It is getting extremely tedious and disappointing as it seems to happen event after event
The one good thing is: at least the team didn;t kick the can down the road till after the event to break the news - which was also the answer we were expecting as we already noticed that stuff doesnt get corrected during events anymore. It is also pointless to check on test or test on test except to get a sneak preview of the shop as any feedback about the event is ignored unless it is game breaking as the post to test is so close tot he maintenance to deploy event that non game breaking issues get ignored (like said text issues)
What is the point of the candy factory? The snack stand + stadium snacks are better in every way?
What is the balance reason for the Princess Zoe limit? Is "intended limit" not just another excuse for forgetting to adjust the limit and making excuses?
I miss the days before all these bundles were added where each event would give +1 available to everything and you could use gems to catch up with ones you missed previously. These random limits for everything are such a poor design.
Zoe is probably something they missed adjusting (which happens nearly every event alas- and they dont really seem to want to learn from previous mistakes which is highly annoying) and as they have no intention of doing emergency maintenance to fix it, this is the easy way while saying they didnt make a mistake.
Obviously the mistake is with BB traffer when writing the dev diary up and marking zoe in it that we should get one regardless of how many we got previously ....
The candy factory buff takes also x3 inputs .... this is nowhere written. So what's the point of this buff ?
Just spent 1400 easter eggs for nothing ..... no event without shitty things
best hope it gets a fix then - which sometimes happens, esp when enough people point out the issues
it is true, but by no means a guarantee of a fix.
They did improve the concert hall :P
An ok event but maybe BB should start looking at item limits & extending the limit for certain items every event, the example here was that the zoe explorer limit of 3 was reached so no one who had this could get another.
Also most of the bundles on offer have been released before so many are starting to be locked out from buying these, maybe refresh bundles with different items rather than the same bundle in an event 1 year on.
I gave up game has become a chore with the lag and the lack of how it used to feel to play I tried for a week and it was just too boring and frustrating with all the issues game has now ..which is a shame as i lived for events
Beating it into the ground, but........
Princess Zoe---No where stated in dev diary or wiki was there a limit. Not understanding why there would be a limit on any specialists. Let the players decide if they want to get or not
Candy Factory---What a cluster that one is. I can grasp the error of the length of time of the buffs, but no where was it stated that it required 300% input to get the buff. That is intolerable.
Easter Quest--the error with the recruitment task under the Easter Assistant quest was dumb. I get it that we got the loot for the quest in advance, but the achievement goal was not updated. Some players were scrambling to get enough points to get the Easter Basket to level 6. That was 180 points to cover. 80 for the task and 100 to complete all 4 quests.
I love the events. Look forward to each one. Really like the Fluffy Butte explorer (especially the name. Cute) Event by no means ideal but was a bug improvement over the previous events in terms of playability.
I am finding the events always have issues, eg :
1. new buildings have all the wrong buff settings or cooldown times, its a mess when you explain it, why do you keep getting it wrong ?
2. Princess Zoe, sorry that was a pathetic excuse, a explorer has NEVER had limit on how many you can have. There doesnt seem to be any enthusiasm on your behalf to fix these.
3. lack of new thinks that work, especially generals for lower levels and the new generals seem weak.
There wasnt much I wanted but gave away loads of eggs to guildies so they can get some stuff, I used the event to level up.
