If you logon to thesettlersonline.com make sure you chose Region: 'European English'Quote:

that is what I'm logged in on. European English but I'm definitely not in Newfoundland where my friends are. Two of them and we can't invite each other to be neighbours.

Once you start on a server there is no way to move between, only start again. Should you wish to switch to Newfoundland you can ask Support to remove your account, then if your friend is already in the game, they can send an invite to your mail account. This will ensure you end up in the same server as them.
There is the option to select which world when you first sign up between the 3 worlds (although sometimes they can be locked due to capacity)
