I better lodge a support call then as I have 18 Generals.....
And as ever Tage, congratulations
Hehehehehehe
Looking forward to a 3rd Vet if BB make him available again this Easter. Will make for some interesting blocks especially on SE.
For those not interested in full XP these days I also like the below for DB - thanks to BlueFairy for the reduced losses.....
http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/t...s-and-less-xp.
Funny problem here, check this:
simulator 1
simulator 2
Which simulator do we thrust?
Normally, they give us the same answer, not this time though
Strange, but if you change the settlersonlinetools.com sim to simulate 99,999 times it does say max losses includes the gen as 0 - 1 with an average of 0 and 100% victory chance so the percentage must be very very small.
Changing to 5 bowman gives a guaranteed 100% with gen being 0 - 0.
Yes, you have a 0,032% chance you lose the battle
With 127S 5B you get a 44% chance of 4 rounds, but it is always better then the 100%
A very valid question... :)
Running the same simulation in http://www.castleempiresim.com/ gives you a chance to see what (on average) could happen in each round of battle:What happens at this stage? That is the question...
- After round 1: 51S and 73DP alive
- After round 2: 14S and 21DP alive
- After round 3: 4S and 6DP alive
- After round 4: 1S and 1DP alive
In round 5 the soldier will kill the one remaining dark priest and the dark priest will kill the one remaining soldier...
So who won? One simulator tells us that the surviving general gives the attacker the victory, the other does not...
This was exactly what happened to Lisztes.
The post below shows the outcome for the fight on exactly that camp, N° 19 in DB.
Lisztes was indeed using your setup, XiozZe, and that battle WAS a LOSS (even if the general survived):
In other words, in this case I trust Asipak's simulator: :)
http://settlersonlinesimulator.com/d...0-1969_4-230-1
So, in short:
The Settler Online Tools simulator says: "Your general is still alive, so you win the battle"
Asipak's simulator says: "Your general is still alive, so you lose the battle"
The game says: "Your general is still alive, so you lose the battle"
hmmmm...... wait
How does Asipak know that?
If it's generally know, why they don't change it?
I will now always rechack my setting on Asipak's simulator :)
hi tage if u keep your general to the left by the mountains on dark p castle u can miss camp 12 all togther :-)
If you don't want/need the full XP, then yes, you can skip it, as shown in this version of DP:
