combat question please folks

Hi All

I'd like to get an idea of how damage is calculated & distributed.

Dogs for instance do 5 - 10 damage with 60% accuracy. Does this mean they do between 5 & 10 damage each attack IF they hit - 6 times out of 10?

I had a situation where 30 dogs killed 30 cav in a single round. Given a cavalry unit has 10 hitpoints, every dog hit with maximum damage to have that effect - or have I misunderstood the combat system?

60% of the time the dogs will do 10 damage and 40% of time they will do 5 damage. As cav only have 5 hp the dog will kill them either way. So one dog kills 1 cav. Hope that clear this up for you.
