Its great that the Changes to the game get their own feedback thread, but I am a little confused as to this one :o
We already gave feed back on this Wood Workyard, Guildbank and New mail system ( what was proposed and seen on test ), No changes have been put out for further consideration and the `details' linked go back to this time frame, so what's new? Is this just a heads up that these are going to be implemented, with or without changes on the 30th. And is the feedback thread for after? As without more up to date info in the details I can't see how we can give any more feedback than we already have, until we see what has been changed ( or not and then our `feedback' is somewhat pointless )
I assume it will be put on test this week for final testing, but it all seems a bit slapdash to me if its already got its release date. Has no one learnt the lesson from the `new Mail' on the Polish servers ? Launching and then withdrawing content doesn't look very professional.
However if the wood Workyard that is currently on test IS the release version then my feedback has not changed:
Its big and ugly, to expensive to upgrade, give little to what I already produce ( I have plenty of recyclers, and my stores are brimming with all the woods and their products ) I will not have it on my island. I'll wait and see if the other proposed workyards materialise, and hope that they are better looking, smaller and cheaper to upgrade. ( trouble is if they are then anyone who has bought this monstrosity will be well and truly miffed if they are short of space ;) )
Ok somewhat confused here, Feedback on events which have not happened yet. Has some joker placed a Blue Police Telephone Box outside BB HQ.
I can only agree with opinions above, and I fear the epic workyard building may become somewhat of a white elephant.
There are some who may want it, of course, but it is far too big in it's current form, and of limited value to those who have already heavily invested in upgrading cokers and forresters to level 5. I have heard arguments for it in that it can save licences etc. but I'm pretty sure I will not be giving it valuable island space.
I can't believe this. Instead of working out the horrible lag, the fact that buffs sometimes don't work, the fact that you need to make 40 lines of 25 cavs for one adventure (why not 1 row of 1000 cavs??) and the other problems within this game the DEVS are wasting their time on some high-end building like this woodcutting monstricity which nobody who is sane will use??
Right. Looks like the testserver is just marketing.
I can make an long and extensive write-up why this new building is useless, but the players on the testserver already did that. So, I am no longer going to bother. I got an empty questbook and I really like it this way, but I am FLATLY refusing to waste my resources on buying this thing just to get rid of the new quests. And PLEASE give me an option to just DELETE the quest.

Will it be 1 woodyard/player or two as in tsotesting server? If its only 1/player, will it be sold for gem or beans?
So why has this been delayed? you effecting the market value of beans here ya know!
All worlds seem to be having a maintenance on the same day, so it may be a fix for something more serious instead?
To big, to ugly , to expensive, no wood cutting. But now its released 1 step closer to something I might actually want. Regarding mail system would of liked buff mails to go into there own tab, rest looks ok.
Looking forward to this monster building. Might take some tweaking to get it to work well with the rest of the production chains. But that is half the fun :D

I am aware you guys already offered feedback on these features. Like Larili suggested, this thread was made to be used after deployment aswell.
Sadly, the deployment has been postponed so this thread is pretty much useless at this point so you have my apologies for that. :(

So let me get this right... you postpone an update, so close the feedback thread, then post a new change log and feedback thread. That then gets postponed so you close the new thread, revise and reopen the original... both of which still have a link to incorrect information regarding the mail system (even though there's a footnote for those who haven't lost the plot by now).

I agree with Toastkid. This has all got rather too confusing for me, with umpteen different announcements and feedback threads. Could someone please spell out in very simple terms when we can expect the Epic Woodyards and new mail system as I really can't be bothered to wade through the different change logs and subsequent feedback threads and cross reference all the dates. I really have no interest in the Valentine boxes, but I guess we'll get them in time for Christmas.
Easy guys, I'm sure BB_Ravel is trying their best, but is being caught up in events beyond her control. You can't say we're not getting up to date information? its just that what is happening is indeed `laughable' ! Look on it another way, first they gave us `find the collectables' now we have `find the right feedback thread' , Its new, flawed but not bugged, didn't see it on pre-staging ( or if it was I failed to find it ) probably been tested on.pl though :p So all in all its new ( not asked for content ) released as we've come to expect...its called consistency :)
Feedback: Release the work yard, who cares anymore.
Release the Valentines box, as there is little point in postponing that unless you release it on 01/04.
Don't release the mail system until its complete, user friendly and workable, TESTED and reviewed by the players who have to use it.

I can understand that this might be a bit confusing. What happens is that only a part of the original announced changelog will be implemented. Only the features and fixes that are named in the changelog belonging to this feedback thread. That includes the Valentine Box as can be seen in the third post. The optimized production chain and some of the bugfixes will be implemented at a later date.

BUG FIXES AND MODIFICATIONS
• Clicking on a garrison immediately after moving it now opens the corresponding menu
• Floating residences in construction lost the construction animation and were shown with the final graphic after a zone refresh
• If there are more then 4 tasks in the barrack's queue, cancelling one of them will not force the list to reload.
That way, accidently hitting "instant complete" will be avoided
• The quest "Near the village" showed up with a wrong icon in the quest book
• The "Invite a friend" confirmation mail had a blank body text

The main problem here is how the testserver staff has handled things. Can't blame BB staff here for that.
What I can tell, the only things not being postponed now is the Valentines box.. or if the only things being postponed now is the never really tested "Several Production changes"..

It has always been pretty clear that things can change from Test to live but at this point with this set of changes it really does seem .pl are being used as the testing ground, they're getting versions that were not seen on the Test along with the bugs that almost always accompany changes in coding. While someone does have to be first and they've generally been very good sports about it it's gone a bit over the top now. Testing belongs on the Test Server, not in live games.
As confusing as this all has been, and it has been confusing, cheers Ravel for keeping up with it, and Fexno for clarifying. Change Logs have a history of being posted terribly late, the removal of the first round of Ltd Offers is one example that caused a great deal of discontent, having them early particularly when they involve large changes is generally quite helpful and sometimes absolutely necessary. This round of changes has just been quite difficult for reasons already well covered in numerous posts in several threads.
The logs have also always had a feedback spot, though until recently it was one ginormous thread that just hung around for feedback on each Log as it appeared. [Feedback] Change Logs It really does, I think, make sense to split the threads though the timing turned out to be a little awkward with The Powers That Be backpedaling so frequently this time. Though thank pete they did! No-one wants a bug that requires them to log out for 30 minutes whilst making sure no-one visits their Island in that time to fix it. Jinkies, I do not envy the BB who had to pass that "fix" on.
Regarding the links to the outdated info, they appear to be part of the International Press Release that comes down from On High. Change Logs have never been known for perfect accuracy, though why it should be as off as it is as often as it is remains completely baffling, but this is exceptionally puzzling. The links are so old they do a better job of saying what isn't happening than what is.
I am going to miss occasionally looking at an old mail or two. It's kind of like losing old friends.

My island is full of level 5 buildings, 0 spaces to build anything new, still awaiting mountain removal feature that was on test last year to make more space to build
I have been longing for a new mail system for a long time. Today it came :)
But it is only a new look, no new features. No history, no sent box, only Inbox. No dates and times, no way to find out when I wrote, or what I wrote to somebody last week.
The mail system in here is still a simple joke. Any other system would probably be far better. I can never in the history of internet remember having seen such a featureless mail system anywhere.
I love the new NPC, but 5000gems for an epic workyard and having that build quest as a main quest??? What are you thinking BB? As far as I can see, either you are desparate for money or this is just a HUGE mistake on your part.
I for one will NOT be buying this amount of gems anytime soon, and that quest will be sitting there for some months before I will be able to complete it....:( extremely disappointed in what you have done with this new building as far as cost is concerned...isnt it enough that we have to spend resources to upgrade it?
I already buy gems, but this time you lose big time....
Some more thought before putting new buildings on the live server at such a high price... not all of us can afford to buy that many gems in one hit.

Totally agree anonymrs, what are you doing BB, i truly hope this is a mistake. You could have at least have made it an option Quest and not a main Quest.

It's not a mistake. The gem version is alternative buy and the main "version" of the building is under "Epic Items"
I have put this in the bug section as all I can imagine is it is a bug and not pure stupidity on behalf of the devs.
Why is the reward for the epic work yard quests exp points?? These work yards I assume would be most appealing to the higher levels and a lot of level 50s, but exp points earned through quests are just wasted and turn into nothing.
BB please fix I am not even going to touch an epic work yard until it is.

I does seem weird that it rewards experience points, but it's more feedback at this point then a bug.
Desperately need more room on Island - when is the mountain removal options arriving. Already had 4 items in mail that refuse to open despite 2 restarts. Being on level 50 means for me the NPC quests for xp are of no real value but will benefit a number of people.
more buildings to put on on an overcrowded map, and quests that give xp which is useless, as at l50 we dont get them even as star coins !!!!! not much thought gone in to this one BB

The change log does not mention it, but where have the remaining time gone from the building queue tooltips? Until today morning they was handy and informative, but now instead of that there is only the type of building, what is total usless...

Nice thingy this woodyard and mail and all.. BUT i have a big question.. why is it that the quest chain still only give xp.. That means that me and waaay many other level 50 loose out on a big bunch of the star coins if we do the quest.. Not to good thought thru that part from the devs i guess..
Was fun to see its a new buildings and new quest and did 2 first quest easy, saw it was only xp.. dont think i will be completing them as i dont get my reward as intended..

I had some nice expectations about new, so called epic workyard. Even its bugged or then its total failure what becomes producing pine trees.
I think it supposed to have 2 minutes 15 seconds producting time, not the 10 minutes production time, what it seems to have now.
Is it really ment to be like that ? If it is, its allmost as bad than 1 pinewood forrester / 1 line, and really not worth the space it took.
I made calculations before, and on the basis of them i should be able to replace 19-20 pinewood forresters if i use all 3 lines for that.....
Now it seems the hole workyard can do the same job than only 4-5 pinewood forresters...... i mean what the ....
I bought both workyards and did all the quests to upgrade them and what did i got ? 2 very expensive, very huge buildings with no proper usage
only sensible thing to use it is making coal, but pretty hard to produce enough pinewood for it, because tree planting is awfull.....
It must be a bug or something because few times production rate have been lower, like that 2.15 minutes it should be and also 4 minutes.... but allmost all the time its 10 minutes......
So please do something about it, my hole wood / coal production economy is a mess right now, since i deleted 20 of my pinewood forresters before, and i really dont want to rebuild 20x lvl 5 buildings.

I have to agree on the pinewood foresting, that thing should be buffed. I went thru the same disapointment when i added it into my production chain. It should definatly get a third upgrade increasing its pinewood foresting output. I hope dearly that this will be forwarded and fixed.
However, the rest of the epic woodyard like hardwood foresting is pretty sweet and i would be completly satisfied if the pinewood foresting part wouldnt be such a thorn.
as my pine / coal are all running fine and at lvl 5 I do not need to waist gems on this and don't no why anyone would buy it ( I have 9 gem pits )
would put in the same bracket as cannon forge, powder hut dm weapons all u s buildings that no one needs and as for the upgrade to do the last quest for 500 gems
the other quest is just as bad for a lvl 50 player all xp that's no use at all once again the lvl 50 get a brush up the
why cant you give them star coins and not xp have done 3 parts and got 500 coins wow
