Augmented Reality (well, kind of...)

We could incorporate the "real world" into the game similar to recent trends in mobile games.
For instance, we could send a postcard to Dusseldorf with a list of explorers and how long a search we wish them to perform, leaving space for BB to fill in what loot they would expect to find, and then post it back to us.
If Ebay (or a similar site) are amenable, they could introduce a Settlers section where we could trade resources, a 10 day "Buy it now" system would still improve our chances of completing a daily trading quest.
Both would be a vast improvement on this Unity rollout.
If we donated enough bread, could we possibly tempt BB_NakNak back and put him in charge of sorting out this mess? :)

I got no idea what u r on about with the postcard thing and we have a trade system in the game, why would we need ebay?

I'm not much of a gamer and rarely use the internet, usually just amazon for gifts for the family. However, i Have been in the IT trade for more years than i care to remember... i dont know about recent trends, but the lines between rl and games started to blur and merge about 25-30 yrs ago with things like gamers selling rare gear from raids in wow for real money, then handing items over ingame. If thats still more or less how things are now, i cant see that working in settlers.
