System Requirements - Unity Version
Dear Settlers,
with the Unity test server and with the upcoming Unity live version, our system requirements will also change!
Outdated Windows versions before Windows 7 (e.g. Windows XP, Windows Vista etc.) are no longer supported by us. These also no longer receive updates from Microsoft, which entails some security risks. Therefore, we advise updating the operating system for such systems. It may still be possible to play "The Settlers Online" on such operating systems that are no longer supported, but there may be performance problems there. Furthermore, it is highly recommended to require 64bit support to avoid out-of-memory issues that are very likely to occur on 32bit platforms.
Please note the following minimum system requirements:
Operating System: Windows 7SP1 or newer
Processor: 2 GHz Dual Core or better[x86, x64 architecture with SSE2 instruction set]
Memory: 2 GB RAM or more
Video: Hardware-accelerated video card[DX10, DX11, DX12 support]
Hard Drive space: 200 MB free space
Permanent Internet connection
Additional requirements for WebGL:
Versions of Chrome, Firefox or Safari that are:
• WebGL 1.0 or 2.0 capable
• HTML 5 standards compliant
• 64-bit
• WASM capable
WebGL 2.0 specific:
•Firefox: 51 or newer
•Chrome: 56 or newer
•Safari: notsupported
