Hidden Egg Hunt: Stops population growth!

When someone puts a Hidden Egg Hunt buff on your Mayor's house, it stops population growth for 12 hours!

I found all the eggs in about 2 minutes, as I'd used a 'Fairy Fire' buff to also find my other collectibles. I have NO eggs on my island, yet still get horrendously penalised with this 12-hours of no settlers!

If you get 2 buffs per day from 'helpful' guild mates, then this makes it impossible to do ANY adventures until the end of the Easter Event, because you can't re-train lost troops (unless you spend bread making settlers in the Provision House).

I thought this bug was fixed on the test server, as stated by BB_Kaurkal here, but that may have been the other issue also mentioned in the thread.

Not sure why your population stopped growing. I have a Hidden Egg Hunt Buff active as well, but mine is growing normally.

Yes I have 3 schools, but they were all still 25 minutes from completing their cycle

You have reached your population limit. That's why.

OK, now I feel stupid! lol
How did I not see that!?!

I guess that I knew it was an issue on the Test Server, and assumed that's why I wasn't going to get any new settlers...

there is a problem though with the buff part of my quest is too produce 50 settlers but i cant speed up the process by using a love potion etc as the egg buff is active

This game really needs an 'unbuff' option...

and cheese sandwich can not be aplyed!
why ?
you try to stop people to receive more than 2 "hidden egg hunt" buffs?
you are full of NICE IDEAS (not saying something other)
if I did find all eggs from "hidden egg hunt" then I do not need more time - you can remove counter from my Mayor house!!!!
