How so,no markets( not from what I can see),no endless mines(after looking on the live server 3 copper..no iron or gold),whats the pop? wouldn't power be how strong an army you have and high end res production?

More than 200 frozen manors + 3 endless copper + 3 endless gold + 3 endless coal + elite training ground 8, each 7 bought with 2 milion gc + 55 imp.deerstalker + lot of more buildings.

A strong island isnt about expensive buildings and such but about the balance you need to be able to do adventures in a good easy way and get all goodies, especially event goodies you need. Frozen manors used to be the thing but nowadays there are many much better alternatives as well.
But if this rings your bell and you are happy, by all means go for it- there is not one best way to go in this game and what was the best way yesterday isnt always the best way tomorrow
