Daily log-in popup not registering log in correctly

Once again it has happened. Since August last year I have logged on every single day, but sometime in May, after maintenance, the server claimed that I had failed to log on two days in a row. It didn't upset me that much because I lost only two or three days. It was a bit annoying that I started from scratch on the achievements, but why wouldn't I be playing this for another year? (The fact that I can think of very good reason now that there seems to be a new battle system coming along, didn't have any meaning back then in May.) So Wednesday after maintenance was my new "gem day". So why do I get a message at the start of the game that I have logged on six days this week, but today...somehow...I DIDN'T? I logged in today to get a message that says I didn't log in...today??? Six nice green check marks and one red big X.

Please do not tell me to empty my cache.

Please, just this once, admit that you sometimes mess up BIG at your end.

+1 from me. I log in a few times everyday but I have also experienced issues where somehow my login didnt count.

yes has happened to me also when i complained i was told you need to log out entirely each day and then back in again seems stupid

All the posts are from Newfoundland. I'm on Sandycove and I haven't missed a credit for logging each day for as long as I can remember - leading me to think this might be specifically a Newfoundland issue. That's quite annoying to missing the daily login credit when you are in fact logging in.
