In shot, not reading all stuff - they do a lot! Especcialy if there are non first-strike enemys. They got best dmg done.
Acctualy You lose, brecause M (militia) dont have splash dmg. That means - 83M can kill ONLY(!) at MAX 83 enemys. No matter how high (low) are their dmg.
Thats the one of reasons for looking better balanced games or playing good old Der Siedler - The Settler III instead of this madness.
