You can't move storehouses incase you accidentally lose control of a section. Just build a new one and tear the other one down.

Agreed, it gets quite tedious when logging in several times a day.

For colour; press the tiny arrows to the right of the big A button (above this box!) and select a colour.

You refill your mines with gems, look in the trader. It's around 45gems for a 500 iron deposit, for example.

Increase your basic resource intake as much as possible. Build lots of woodcutters, stone masons etc. Make sure you have enough foresters for the wood cutters...the ratio is generally 2:1
