I have to second all of this also and I hope the new fixes really do fix it as playing during peak times is really putting me off playing all together.

I use Tage's map all the time - they are brilliant and fault free. The lag might get you occasionally but Tage's maps are the best i've come across for ease of use, positioning and losses.

I too have just got to 48 and am now looking for more savings by using the cannoneers.

Yep my friend has one of his fields 3 hours difference when he only planted minutes apart = very odd?? which has caused havoc with the buffs. (Mine thankfully are ok)

Yes me too and my dad also - we've had same problem since mountain lion - really frustrating.
I've found the = and - keys on keypad work for zoom but its doesn't solve the scrolling in trade window...
