Same problem here, on two PCs, both with IE and Chrome

Finally tried a Windows7 PC with IE and Chrome => has worked with both browsers

But the others (XP) still NOT

I have experienced this.....

And when you were in a 'Whisper' session with a friend that you visit, (to know exactly what building your friend wants buffed), then returning home makes the chat...
