I will try to make a small guide on how to block that camp with a regular general with only 1 Recruit. It worked for me in the test...

Zone 9, Hard Camp 3 (30 Dogs + 10 Rangers + 160 Roughnecks): [1: 200R 2: 125R + 75LB (294R)]
After 1st wave (all 200R were lost): 10 Rangers + 91 Roughnecks were left
Reward: 1.000 Marble

Zone...

Zone 6, Medium Camp (60 Thugs + 120 Guard Dogs) [175 Recruits + 25 Militia (81R)]
Reward: 150 Bows

I had to clear that camp because my General was getting intercepted while trying to clear Zone 3...
