I was nowhere near gem shops anywhere... but they keep track of gem usage (even tho their answer is kinda shady :D

There is one thing bugging me... one goldmine has 300 nuggets, u need 2 to make a bar and then another 4 bars to make a coin...

Not wrong but least probable. You have to find a way which would not interfere with gem items which are sold to fulfill refill purpouse such as silos and gem mine refillers, endless copper mine...

As we know - farms are found stone of military production due to bread = settlers, wheat = beer and horse production...
