It didin't work much longer and crashed again.

I get crashes quite often - couldn't play more then few minutes and go past lvl 1.

It's not an improvement - it's a removal of functionality of quartermaster. Keeping one configured with troops and nicely getting them back from adventure and sending for next one is no longer...
