I have to say, as a programmer who's worked at several companies that have hosted SaaS solutions...
Sorry, none of that makes any sense to me. As a computer programmer I know exactly how I'd code it, and I can't think of any way I'd do so that would mean anything other than 65% of adventure runs...
Why would those two numbers be different though, unless there's a deliberate algorithm to ensure some players get different ratios than others!
In fact, I would assume it's calculated per adventure...
Most obviously for multi-player adventures where you just want to be sure the other players have recorded kills so they'll be rewarded with loot, it would be super handy if a message was posted to...
Having been booted out twice in the last 5 minutes I now can't even load the game at all, even after clearing all site data (includes Unity DB etc.)
Just get a progress bar, then in the DevTools...
Yep, I know quite a few who've given up using the browser/web version due to this. I actually just had very strange bug where I got shown a dialog for an addy I'm not even doing, but that froze the...
Still happening - just had to log out due to issue with event not starting properly, and couldn't log back in. Same error.
Only had to wait about 6 or 7 minutes before it worked though.
Music buff? Not that I've ever used such a buff, it doesn't seem very likely that would affect whether you can log in reliably or not.
EndOfStreamException/EndOfFile exception still happens if you try to log in again too soon after logging out (or being booted out), no amount of cache/db clearing helps.
Standard behaviour from what I've observed.
Clearing cache (both via ipconfig /flushdns and chrome://net-internals/#dns "Clear host cache" button) didn't work.
First time I'd seen the EndOfStreamException error for a while too, but as per...
As noted repeatedly, none of that helps (though admittedly I haven't tried clearly DNS cache). The only thing that works is waiting and retrying.
Same thing I already reported. Note that it most likely tends to happen if you've logged in successfully recently - the longer you wait the less likely it is to recur.
Clearing caches, using...
Definitely not related to Chrome extensions or memory management option. Happens with Edge too. Literally the only way to get it to load is to wait and keep retrying. Typically it loads fine if...
All seems a bit pointless if we can't actually get the game to start (after much experimenting I've decided the only thing that helps is repeatedly reloading when the progress bar gets stuck for 10...
Seems to me like there's something like a 10% chance of actually being able to get the game to start up - most of the time it just hangs about 90% through the progress bar, and sits there forever. ...
I suspect they're just as capable of changing that algorithm as they are of fixing the chat server in the first place.
But...I understand the programmer mindset...just now I couldn't help thinking...
They've obviously got some talented and imaginative people in charge of the graphics and game ideas - obviously they should just get rid of the actual programmers and dev-ops engineers and rely...
As a programmer it's not *that* surprising to see a non-prod feature leak onto a prod environment.
What's utterly inexplicable is how long it's taking them to fix it - the most I've ever had to...
That it could take 6 hours to perform an update and have none of their testers find a bug this serious, then decide not to implement a fix (or roll-back the update) ASAP really is extraordinary.
