Script which is run to open up locked zones actually locks you out

I understand there's a script run early every morning with the aim to unlock zones that have previously been locked.
However, if you're logged in at that very moment, your island will now indeed become locked for the next 24 hours.
It happened twice to another member in my guild, and this morning it happened to me.

With explorers being sent out roughly every 3-6 hours and with Zombie Crypts appearing every 6 hours, don't even think about logging in and taking care of them in the wee hours (between 3 and 4 am GMT). Thanks to this, I guess I'm now losing a full day of collecting pumpkins.

For players in Australia end New Zealand this must be even more devastating...

This sort of makes sense to an issue I'm having this morning.

How can this happen though when people play from around the world? (or are just people who don't sleep )

Starting around 2100 local time the game locks out until around midnight, it is very frustrating. Based on reports I am hearing this is also the timeframe where generals are going to a blackhole.

This is pretty frustrating, 2nd time this has happened to me, 1st I get kicked from an adventure then kicked from the game.
CipSoft need to get it together and employ better game Dev's to write better scripts.

I didn't pay money for gems to be consistently kicked out of the game.

This can explain why i have been locked out now for 2 days since i am quite often up early

So i will try tomorrow and not log in until around 0900 and see it makes any difference for me

This happened to me this morning at exactly 5AM UK time. Hope I'm not out for 24 hours over a weekend day during event.

Could it be ghost explorer from the chest coming from achievement for grimoire pages? I opened the chest after 4AM this morning
