I've got this recently from an event, looking to place on my Archipelago but I am unable to do so, is this a bug or is there something I'm missing. And yes, I created a large space to try and failed

It's by design that you can't place it or the granite pit there as these were made before new levels were added and their behavior conflicts with the other deposits.
