It would be better to have a permanent chat channel specific for trades, as is the case with 'global', 'help' or 'news'. This way you won't miss on some posts/requests from fellow traders. Since most people are on Global-1 all the time, barely anyone sees what is written in Global-3 (current trade chat).
Sandycove is new but as time goes on more and more people will use global 3 for trading. It happened on Newfoundland when the channel came in. Originally no one used it but now there's always a lot of people who choose to stay on that channel.
I suggest a custom chat tab, which you can use for any chat you want, so you can combine general 1 + general 3 for example. If peole woudn't have to leave general 1, there would be a lot more people in general 3.
i prefer easy acces to chats aswell, trade could be named and for others a dropdown menu would be helpfull. The less barriers to take, the faster people actualy use them.

anyway just wait trade revamp - all has been suggested before as well
global-3 is starting to get better with people on, and if there is no one on then just put it on the trade and if no one takes it, the offer is too high, and try again.
