Something I think might be useful - there's guild mail and that's very nice. But most of the time guild members want to post requests (for trades, adventure spots, etc) that would be nice if they could linger until the offer is no longer relevant.
e.g. someone wants to advertise a lootspot. It would be on a guild bulletin board until it is no longer relevant - and then it could be deleted.
It would also be nice for the trade channel.
Dunno how your guild works, but we use guild chat to talk to each other - seems a whole bunch easier

When it comes to Gene pools and shallow ends they can be found at the bar drinking pina colada's
it could be nice to have a place to post information. You cant see the chat if you are not online.
This would be a fine spot for a bulletin board - but it is not very convenient that you have to click on each name to see if this member has made a note. This might very well be the reason why it is not used.

Most players never use forum. Of course that is their choice, but that is how it is. If you are to share information with all it has to be very easy to access.
A bulletin board (pinboard, pin board, noticeboard, or notice board in British English) is a surface intended for the posting of public messages, for example, to advertise items wanted or for sale, announce events, or provide information.
Sounds like a forum to me and we already have access to one here. Simples.

what was requested was a place in game for guild members to share information,- maybe it is the same as a forum yes - but in-game.
