Servers IP addresses

Good morning,

Someone in my guild is having connectivity issue despite she is wired connected to her modem and has a very fast broadband.
The game would takes 10-20 minutes to load and she would experience lags.

In order to troubleshoot, I was looking for the IP addresses of the servers (particularly Northisle - Realm 2) so we could do a tracert/trace route and find where it blocks.

For some games, the server's IPs are publicly provided and can be found on the forums.
I am sorry that for settlersonline, I couldn't find it.

You can use Chrome Developer tools to see the IP address of the server.

The game doesn't only connect to the w0xg0x.thesettlersonline.com but also downloads all the sounds, graphics and flash binaries from and CDN and that address is different depending what connection you are using. The idea of CDN is to serve the big files from a server close to the player.

With the Chrome Developer tools you can also see what file is causing the long load time.

Some time ago there was some problems with a CDN server in France that served corrupted files, but I believe that is fixed now.
