Player Rankings

I see good opportunity to introduce rankings of players now when the XP limit was removed. It would be nice to see overall progress to level 75 and also on particular countries/servers

i was going to suggest the same thing today.
big +1 from me.
maybe add some more stats like number of adventures played/week or smth.
would also mean the rankings button gets used intentionally for a change..

Big -1 from me. TSO has never been about rankings- I doubt that anyone not doing PvP even bothers to look at the ranks there. And who even looks at the "Compare Achievements" thing?

What would the rank be based on? Simple level progression? What about the traders who buy/sell millions? Or those who have a perfectly balanced economy? Or the prettiest island?

People play their own game their own way and levelling is merely one side of it. Some players don't bother with adventuring, preferring to chat, or trade, or whatever makes them enjoy their game. Ranking players based on their level brushes aside all of the other accomplishments that many of us enjoy far more than mere xp aquisition.
