    Trade bullies

we have a very helpful and friendly community here on settlers, but its often spoiled by trade. just because u can inflate prices doesn't mean u should!
beans at 25k gc, really is not helpful to other players and new players coming through have got no chance of paying that amount.
these ppl will argue the case quoting supply and demand etc. but is what it really boils down to is, they are not friendly, helpful, generous players, they're just greedy and selfish.

that's ok if that's how they wanna play but I advise normal ppl to avoid them and find some1 willing to help u, rather than make a profit out of u. if ur unfortunate enuff to be stuck in a guild with these ppl leave and find a helpful guild. there's plenty around and u'll enjoy settlers much more.

not sure who these bullies are? check trade channel and TO, their names are there for all to see.

If no one buys then the prices go down again, so in the end we decide what prices w want to have.

Whilst I agree with your sentiment, everyone is free to buy and sell whatever through the TO. Players will only continue to sell at these prices if other players buy at those prices. Beans have doubled in price, but it isn't new players that need them due to the expansion content, its well established players ( lvl 50's ). They should be well capable of choosing whether to pay these prices or do the adventures and get the beans themselves.
What does amaze me is the blatant way some are offering to buy at half the price they are selling with their trades appearing close together on the same page in the TO.....and others can not see the `real' price !
There is the case that some traders are trading for their guild and they will argue that taking `advantage ' of others benefits the players in their guild so its not always about single players greed.
The overall rule of trade is only buy at a price that suits your game, if new content and/or events boost the price above what your comfortable paying, either economically or morally, do not buy and find another way
Are we to be told of adventure changes or not? 1 Month on and still SNEAKY RB changes have not been mentioned

This best for new players. now they play 1 slt and sell both ls for 100k gc or 4,5K beans.
they earn now much more and they need to play much less ft's adventures to collect enough beans and they make better profit from ft's.
now they can almost all buildings on lvl 4 with just one ft adventure.
you need to play (or buy gems) if you want something
BB don't understand their own game

You obviously don't do adventures because this is the single biggest boost newer level 42+ players have had in a while, prior to this a player could if they were lucky get 1200-1300 beans for a vlt if they could sell it, now it will go instantly for up to 1500 beans in a matter of seconds and the ls will most likely use a buff kill. That's an increase of upto 600 beans which is massive even if the seller isn't on premium he/she walks away with 3800 beans.

This issue will grow and grow as folks reach level 53/54/55 etc ahead of others, as has always been the case even before the cap increase. They will have the new resources earlier and can hold those still on level 50 to ransom. Just look at the price of mahogany planks from those who are level 52. Players need the planks for the Panda quests to get the xp from them to level up etc, repeating vicious circle. We are lucky to have a level 52 in guild who is happy to change logs to planks for us.

    I totally agree with Corona.
If you don't like the price of the beans, run adventure and sell the beans!
This is your problem that you are lazy and you don't want to run an adventure.
You must WORK, if you want to earn!

I love the current re-balancing of wealth among the players.

This will stop fast... new raids give way to many beans and after you can make them with elite troops they become very easy, the first one and the thief series gives a lot of beans... in a couple of months the market will get so many beans they will start decreasing value again.

On topic... new players shouldn't even worrie about beans... work your way to the level you can make them and when you get there you'll be ready for those prices... if you're not make adventures yourself and sell your owne ls... if you you're not ready to make them when you can... then sorry but you do not know the basics of the game and maybe it's not for you...

My advise... don't rush... take your time... like they say... Rome wasn't built in a day.
