Which is as it should be. Level 5 barracks is the best you can do. Add another barracks and then you might as well have multiple bookbinders and multiple provision houses and then what? There should be a cost for the reward. Spend time optimizing your battles, work with others to share the load of winning the adventure.

as they are slowly upgrading things to lvl 6-7 how long before they upgrade the barracks to lvl 6 extra 10%-20% of build time would help
