It would be more convenient if you had an unassign all troops button when on the home island, not sure where you'd stick it but would be less tedious than unsliding each slider after they return from and adventure

Good idea. Give the General a disband button, and send them all to the barracks. Make the barracks more useful too. Sometimes I have run out of settlers - so be nice to be able to demob some soldiers too !
