Upgrade problem

I tried to load a Wandering settlers into the Mayors House only to be told that “Maximum capacity reached” so at the first opportunity I upgraded my storehouse as advised (the store house apparently accepted the upgrade as my resources are correspondingly depleted and the cost of upgrading has increased) However I still cannot install the wandering Settler into the Mayors house “Maximum capacity reached”

I suppose you have to build a residence of some sort.

upcrading storehouse(s)/mayourhouse wont give you more space to settlers, you need build residence ore noble house or upcrade them to add more settlers, hope this help

I had this problem too.. I build more houses to incease population capacity then from provision house you can trade for settlers and add them to the mayor house to get more settlers.
