queasts not reading right

With quick overview i didnt found any thread regarding to my problem.

I got daily quest before i went to sleep, i had to raise my stock of Brew by at least 100. Well i woke up after 6-7hours and saw progress already 40 brew. Now some time has passed (ive been building and growing my settlement) and i check progress again progress is only 18 but total brew in storage is still 58. So brew has not gone anywhere but still in storage. Whats the problem? Seems to me like a bug.

Do you have enough wheat and water to keep the brewers busy for that length of time?

Misunderstanding of the game mechanics is not a bug.
