Chat Server Not Working

The chat server on Sandycove comes up as normal, then after a minute or two it resets itself or goes to news only. The has been happening for most of the week now. It's very annoying. Is it just me?

Is there a fix for it?

If you are running low on memory the chat server is the first thing to go. Are you running any other programs which are consuming your memory?

This happens to me on firefox. I now use an IEtab in firefox and chat works.

A fresh profile on firefox still had the problem

I have plenty of memory and nothing else eating it up.

Yes I use Firefox, but up until now have had no issues with it.

I added the IEtab to Firefox, but still no change.
I have reported it to the techies.

Is there a blue internet explorer icon bottom right ? if it is an orange firefox icon click on that and it will switch to IE mode for that tab. probably will need to install flash again.

I tried explorer chrome firefox and 2 other pc and a laptop
same problem on all for me
and now its like 3 weeks
bb said we know of the problem but don't know when we are going to fix it...

What's the gain compared to simply open TSO in IE?
(Just wondering if yet another addon in FF will make it better.)
