so now I've got a shield cluttering up my action bar that as far as I can see is just a link to 10 players names. so, my question is... why?

if ur 1 of those 10 ppl and u want to see ur name cant we have something a bit less obtrusive as a link? and how bout making that teeny weeny castle do something useful, like perhaps house those marshalls that are cluttering up my star menu!!!

I'm not complaining, there is obviously at least 10 ppl enjoy pvp, these are suggestions


p.s. I just noticed u can still access the "view 10 players names" link from an adventure.... awesome!

yes it is a lot of space to use - just to celebrate the 10 that made it to rank 3 - also a bit depressing. Use this much space to try to force this rubbish on us. It is fine that there is something nice to do for these 10 people,I am just a bit annoyed because I joined this game to play settlers - not this pvp rubbish.
I kind of get the impression, that they dont have time and resources to make new adventures and develop the settlers, because they use all resources on this, and on trying to force it on us.

I have to agree that only showing the top 10 seems to be a lot of work for little return, when only a minority of players even care.

I found a use for it - it gets me the homepage without having to click open the option menu. saves about .2 seconds.

Sorry Peajay, you are wrong
To be ranked you have to be tier 3 and have defeated a minimum of 1000 enemy units.

You can cancel expeditions and still be tier 3... I have cancelled loads trying to drop tiers and still stuck at tier 3.

Yes but that is in total, not per expedition, as you can complete some expeditions using considerably less troops than 1000... and that requirement only applies to the efficiency rankings anyway.
