To all you complaining that you had to buy balls for gems to get what you wanted on this event - this is EXACTLY what BB want to hear..

Nice event tho' - shame about the ball drop

Nothing wrong with buying event currency with gems. Game has several ways to earn free gems. Might do it myself in the future if "lazy". But imo its important that it is possible to earn enough event currency without trading and gems to buy out the shop if you so choose.

I think this event also had best gem to event currency ratio?

Once again, the broken promise that you would not include PvP related quests in the main event chain meant we were forced to pay 499 gems to continue in this event.
To avoid this surcharge, I would have had to buy extra licenses to build buildings I'm never ever going to use, assuming I could even find space for them as my island is brim full of buildings necessary for the proper game.
I would then have had to hire marshalls which again would never be used, and they just sit there stinking up the star menu causing confusion as they look very similar to certain other specialists. I would have had to commence the PvP quest chain and progress it to a level where it unlocked the useless units I would have to build to give away to complete the quest. This would have wasted valuable resources, and taken several days out of a time limited event, not what's needed when the balance has been skewed so far towards adventure loot as the main source of event currency, and a ludicrously high target of mini-advs required for an achievement.
Better still, just get rid of this failed PvP experiment altogether, removing the temptation to try and force us into it to partake in events. You've shown no inclination to fix its myriad bugs and problems in the 5 miserable years it's been stinking up TSO, give it up as a nad job and free up the server resources for the proper game.

Speaking od achievements, apart from that one, the collectables ones still remain a problem due to the inconsistency of collectable spawns, these can still be over 16 hours apart meaning that many days you will only see one spawn. Even on the French servers, which started a week earlier, I was able to collect twice most days, and still barely scraped past the 500 collectable target, the 1,000 one was way out of sight.
For those of us who invested in explorers over the years, there used to be a nice balance where these would contribute a fair chunk of event resources, but you have reduced these returns to dreadfully low levels, shifting the balance to adventure loot as the sole provider of most of the currency. For some of us, Real Life does not grant the luxury of spending 3 weeks spamming adventures, and leaves us feeling rather cheated at the investment in the explorers. It's even harder for those of us whose playing times do not fit into the 9 to 5 bracket, we can't share the load like we used to when the game was busy 24/7, on some servers it's not uncommon to see up to 3 days worth of chat on a single page of g-1, could even be more if chat resets didn't wipe the slate clean.
Please shift the balance back away from the dominance of adventure loot, and make the investment in explorers more worthwhile again, after all that's the main reason we bought them in the 1st place, and for the love of God, get rid of that PvP rubbish for once and for all, it does not belong in TSO and with all the strains og bugs and an increasingly flaky Flash, server resources don't need to be wasted upon that.
    We love our new CM.

    Newfoundland: 20th November 2011 to 25th November 2014. RIP
It was good while it lasted.

I don't recall there being any PVP related quest nor paying gems for anything. And i did everything the Event gave me to do.

And achievements are achievements its in the word, they aren't quest they are just for those who spend that extra time to achieve something, its up to you if you want to take the time to do it

Host of Responsibilities - Rowdy Fan quest for players between lvl 41-51 had to delegate 80 Heavy Infantry. That's all there was as far as PVP-related content.

No wonder i never saw it.

Seems strange, because the previous level bracket has Militia and the next Bracket has Elite Soldiers. Feels like the 41-51 bracket should have been soldiers.

But yeh if you don't do PVP stuff you'd have to make at least the Barracks building to train those troops, the weapons you could always buy. Quite the annoyance

That should of been soliders and looking at the wiki it was something must of happened when it went live if you did have to use pvp troops and i guess as no one complained about it as i havent seen a singe thread on it they didnt know there was a issue odd didnt see it mentioned on the german servers either

I didn't have the quest personally since I am way above that level, but a couple of our guildies had it.
The quests hadn't changed from last year which had a few people complain about it too.
